Today is the big day…I’m getting married! I feel calm, even after a horrid nightmare involving a vendor not showing up! It has been a long week filled with crafts and projects. I did have to prioritize and eliminate a few DIY elements, which killed me to do, but time was running out.
I’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support our families and friends have bestowed on us. Everyone has come together to share in our love and help us celebrate, and it means the world to us both. Hurricane Sandy passed by us and brought a lot of rain and wind, but the last two days could not have been anymore perfect, weather-wise. The wind is still blowing, but I’m just so thankful for clear skies that a little wind doesn’t even phase me. However, Sandy is heading up north, where a lot of our family traveled from and several guests already have had flights home canceled.
I am sitting here in our cottage drinking coffee, calm as ever. I’m anxious and excited and of course a little nervous because in just a few hours my life will forever change.
Mr. Beanstalk, I love you with all my heart and can’t wait to see you at the altar!
Everyone at the hive, thank you. I feel so lucky and fortunate to be a part of this amazing community. You all have helped me in so many ways to plan this amazing wedding. You have given me advice and offered feedback, and for all of that I am forever grateful. I’m actually getting teary eyed as I think of Weddingbee and this incredible site that I am beyond honored to be a member of. I love you all.
Today is it. I’m getting married! And then we jet off to St. Lucia for our honeymoon; when I get back I have tons to share with you all.
Signing off for the last time as a Miss,
Miss Beanstalk
