After our first look and first few couple shots, our bridesmaids and groomsmen were signaled from the limos to make their way out to us.

Don’t they look dashing?
The girls had a little bit more trouble getting out to us. We really could have used those heel protectors! The dirt was closer to sand, so we were definitely sinking as we walked around. BM KK was trying to keep her balance on the long walk out.

We started out pretty standard:

But it didn’t take us long to get a little silly!

And then we all got into a huddle:

Then we broke off into boys and girls. I had some sassy fun with my girls.

And then I did individual shots with my best girls. My cousins and sister were all about to cry when we took these, so there were definitely some red eyes!

Meanwhile, the guys were channeling their inner Bonds. I was so happy to see those sunglasses put to use! They loved them!

They’re all so tall that fitting their buddy photos into this collage was a challenge!

After a few more couple shots, we were on our way across the street to Wayfarers. And the wave of nerves was coming back full force.
Originally, we were supposed to take family photos before the ceremony as well, but Sara moved them to afterward just before leaving the park, which gave us a little more breathing room before guests arrived. The ceremony was now only an hour away! I’m so glad she suggested that. Wrangling family was not what I wanted to be doing just before getting married, and guests started arriving literally minutes after we did. I was safely tucked away by then and wouldn’t have been if we had proceeded with family photos.
Are you planning on some silly shots (no pun intended) with your bridal party? Did you have a quick schedule change in your wedding day? Did it work out well?
