Our post-ceremony portrait session produced plenty of lovely photos, but it wasn’t without some shenanigans as well. Mr. Wiz and I can rarely keep a straight face at the best of times, let alone when a camera is snapping away at us as we’re flying on the high of being newly-minted Mr. and Mrs.!
There was a willow tree that attacked us…
A fuzz on my nose and my trademark skeptical side-eye…
This was my reaction when Michael, trying to get a sweet pose out of us, told Mr. Wiz to “give her temple a little sniff”…
Immediately after which he said, “No, haha, maybe that’s weird….” Uhh, just a little!
There were these two photos that looked EXACTLY like two of our engagement photos. This is inevitably what happens when you try to get us to pose for the oh-so-trendy “serious face” shot:
Towards the end of the photo time, I started to feel a little faint…after all, I’d only eaten half a cup of yogurt and one Pop-Tart that day. But my nervous stomach had finally gone away, and I realized I was HUNGRY. I sent MOH Lefty up to the reception hall to get me a plate of cheese. Just cheese.
And cheese is exactly what I got.
Remember how I was afraid of bugs crawling in my dress at the wedding? Well, luckily I didn’t encounter any ground bees, but there were plenty of flies that found their way in there.
See the black spot towards the bottom left? That’s just one of many flies we found in my dress that day. Gross! / *
Um, and can we just talk about this picture for a second?
I laughed for about a million years when I first saw it. Best Man D looks like he’s really enjoying that bouquet, but Lefty doesn’t look so sure about it (she and I definitely have the same trademark skeptical side-eye).
