Just over a week ago something amazing happened. Something I’d been planning for over a year! Something I poured my creative soul into and spent hours upon hours designing and conceptualizing. The Beanstalks got married! I’m now officially a MRS.!
The Beanstalk sisters just moments before the ceremony.
As we were being announced as Mr. & Mrs.
It was a dream wedding. It was everything we thought it would be and so much more.

Hurricane Sandy didn’t affect our celebration too much. She passed by Florida two days prior to our wedding and brought tons of rain and wind. By the time the ceremony started, the wind had let up and we were blessed with glorious weather! However, even though the Beanstalks weren’t directly affected by the hurricane, our guests from the North East were. Several family members were stuck in Florida a few days longer than they had planned due to cancelled flights (I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a more amazing place to be stuck than in Florida)! We also had some cousins from New York who had to leave just before the ceremony in order to make a flight home before the storm hit.

Of course there were a few things that didn’t go exactly according to plan (but these small details were never even noticed by our guests)! They were little aspects of our day that only Mr. Beanstalk and I would ever detect were askew. And truth be told, even though we may have noticed a song that wasn’t played, or a sign that was forgotten in the car, it didn’t matter to us because at the end of the day the two of us were just so happy to be married!

The days leading up to the wedding I worried how things would turn out—would my vision come together the way it did in my mind? I can honestly say everything came together more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. It was truly an enchanting evening and I can’t wait to start my recaps!
But before recaps, I have quite a bit of pre-wedding details and projects to write about! Oh, and then there’s our tropical honeymoon I want to share with you all, too! We just got back from our trip early this morning and I already long for the warm sunshine!
So, brace yourselves, Mrs. Beanstalk is back and ready to share tons with you all!
