One good thing about the rain that had slithered its way into our wedding day was that it made the beautiful grass at Cedarwood very green! Perfect for wandering into the meadow to take some pictures in our last moments as an engaged couple.
As much fun as it was frolicking around in the grassy hills, we had to head back to the main property. We did have a ceremony to attend, after all.
There was still a little bit of time before our ceremony was set to begin, and what better way to kill a few minutes than having a photo shoot at the barn. I had to capture my dream of getting married at a barn on camera!
While we were taking pictures by the barn, more and more guests were arriving and milling about. Our awesome photographers realized this and whisked us to a more private area for a few more shots before we took our places for the big event.
As we were finishing pictures, there was a bit of a sprinkle that began to fall. Luckily, I had my knight in shining armor there to keep me dry as I made my way back to the bridal suite to take a few deep breaths before it was time to walk down the aisle!
Who needs a white horse when you have a handsome man with a white umbrella?
Did you take photos with your soon to be spouse before the ceremony?
Were you able to get pictures in private without the guests spotting you?
