As I scrolled the folder on my desktop that contains the photos from our reception, I was amused to find that the further down in the folder I got, the more out of hand the photos became. They slowly moved from beautiful smiles and structured poses to fist-pumping, lyric-belting madness. Before we sink too far into the craziness, let me share a few of the classier pics from our reception. From a shot of the beautiful Mama Dalmatian:

Actually that one came pretty late in the evening! I’m quite impressed that we still had our act together.
Now, let’s reflect on when things started to turn from graceful elegance to good ole’ crazy fun, starting with Bridesmaid M’s stand-up comedy routine. Bridesmaid M is a girl with many talents and many jobs, and stand up comedy falls into both of these categories. She is one of the very few people I know who has the nerve to get up on stage, or in this case on the dance floor and tell jokes to a large crowd of people that includes many strangers. She is also one of the very few people I know who is funny enough to pull it off. So, after some encouragement from Mr. Dalmatian’s dad, she took hold of the mic.
Mr. Dalmatian’s face in the above picture pretty well captures how hysterical she was. And with that, it was time to get down to business. I tightened my belt…
