If you’ve been following our journey to the aisle, you might remember that I had my hair and makeup trial a while back, and I was really unsatisfied about how my hair turned out. I vented for awhile about not being the “right” shade of blonde, and I left you with a promise to keep you posted about what hairstyle I decided on.
To be honest, I’d been indecisive about my hair for a few months. There are so many beautiful updos out there, and I’d been worrying incessantly that I would look at our wedding photos afterward and have hair regret. Well, I finally made up my mind (it’s about time!!). I saw a beautiful Twigs & Honey headband for sale on a wedding blog’s classifieds page, and I fell in love.

The tiny flowers on the headband match the floral appliques on my lace dress, and I love how the headband is not too bling-y. I am also enamored with the hairstyle on the model—it suits my day-to-day style really well (I usually wear my hair in loose boho buns), I thought it would look great on my hair color, and it frames the model’s face really nicely. In other words, my hair indecision was solved!
I ordered the headband from the sweet bride who was reselling it, and then I found myself playing the waiting game, checking (impatiently) our front doorstep every day to see if it had arrived yet.
Were you indecisive in choosing your bridal accessories? What is your wedding-hair inspiration? Did I make the right choice for my headpiece?
Love it! I also ordered a a flower piece for my hair as I really wanted a romantic look vs. the normal princess bling look.
Love it. Very pretty. I won’t have an updo and think I’ll just go with a pretty headband or flower in my hair too.

I didnt decide on my hair till the day of – I had a vintage hat with veil and a bunch of differnt barrettes with blue and or white rhinestones and ended up going for a simple look with all my hair over one side showing my neck and barettes on the side to hold it in place
I didnt have a professional doing my hiar so I could be flexible with it

That head band is beautiful. I decided weeks before our wedding that I needed something in my hair so I rush ordered a comb from Etsy. I’m glad I did!
I would pick a style similar to this I think. It looks really timeless…perfect and put together but not too much.
