I’m excited to share with the hive the FIFTH annual Bee Ornament Exchange! For those new to the hive, each year the blogger bees get together and participate in a secret Santa ornament exchange. Each bee has the challenge of coming up with a handmade or store-bought ornament for $15 or less, and the ornaments resemble or represent the bee’s moniker that they’ve drawn. Check out some of the adorable ornaments the bees came up with this year. This is only part one of four, so get excited for more holiday goodness!
to — What could be more fun than a sledding octopus?… (handmade from scratch)
to — Handcrafted…by a nice lady at Etsy!
to — An ornament was made to show off Miss Gloves’s adorable puppy Howie, who is trying to make off with her moniker in his mouth!
to — After I snapped this picture, I added a big red ribbon bow instead of the red and black thread—much more festive. But I forgot to take an updated picture afterward!
to — The swirling of yellows and oranges reminded me of a beautiful sunrise!
to — A sweet felt treat via Etsy seller doughandbatter for Petit Four since I’m craft challenged!
to — I bought a ceramic spaniel figurine and adorned it with festive holiday accessories!
to — I hand-painted this little birdie. OK, so it turned out looking like an owl…but I tried!
to — A doily-imprinted kitty!
to — Second attempt at a marmalade snowflake. Paint and cardboard are not as friendly as paper. Merry Christmas, bees!
to — A pretty treasure chest for the tree!
to — An amazing (practically life-size) crafted version of the perfect snow cone!
Aren’t these great? Which is your favorite? Stay tuned for more!
