After a long and ever so winding car ride from the airport, we were finally at our hotel, The Jalousie Plantation. We walked down a few steps and there was our villa. It was gorgeous! Linus, our butler for the week, gave us a tour of our new home and we were beyond excited with what we saw! It was super private and had a beautiful view of the Piton Mountains. He also gave us two Firefly phones that we were to use to contact him…whenever we wanted or needed to!
So here it is, our honeymoon villa…
We wanted to capture our villa on video because when we booked our honeymoon, that is what we looked at to help us make our decision…YouTube videos! Videos really give you an in depth and honest look at various hotel properties. If you’re trying to decide on a honeymoon spot, check out YouTub—it may help you make up your mind!
*Side note: The Jalousie Plantation is now operating under the new name of Sugar Beach: A Viceroy Resort. While we stayed at the property it was still Jalousie and did not change names until a few weeks after we left. The name change was a last step in the resort’s new branding. (It was bought by the Viceroy a few years ago and underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation.) We were super excited that we were there to experience this newly renovated resort!
