We had planned on spending our second day in Orlando visiting Magic Kingdom and exploring the new Fantasyland, which neither of us had seen. A couple of weeks before our trip, we learned that Disney was hosting the Monstrous Summer All Nighter, which meant Magic Kingdom would be open for 24 hours the day we had planned on visiting. Talk about great news!
We arrived at the park a little after 7:30am to begin our fun filled day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
We headed straight to the enchanted forest part of the new Fantasyland. We had breakfast at Gaston’s Tavern, where we had a chance to taste the scrumptious Le Fou Brew and a special edition Sully cupcake before checking out the new attractions in the area.
At 10:30am we got in line for lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, which features three incredible dining rooms in the middle of the Beast’s Castle. The one and a half hour wait was definitely worth it! Although the food wasn’t that good, the setting was spectacular. It felt as if I had just stepped into the middle of my favorite Disney movie, Beauty and The Beast.
The Beast’s Bedroom…you could see the petals falling off the rose!

The highlight of our trip to Magic Kingdom was definitely our morning at New Fantasyland, where Disney really outdid themselves, bringing their stories to life in great new ways. After lunch at Be Our Guest, we made our way counterclockwise around the park, seeing every show and riding every ride. The wait times were not too bad, most were between 30-60 minutes all throughout the day.
We stopped at 9:00pm to see Wishes (BEST Fireworks show EVER!), ran off to Tomorrowland for a screening of Monsters Inc. from 11:00pm to 1:00am and then back to Main Square for the 1:00am Electrical Parade and a cool dance party at Cinderella’s castle. We ended our day at three in the morning after spending 20 hours at Magic Kingdom, exhausted but super excited to have had the chance to be a part of this fun event.
