When it came to gifting the groomsmen, I gave Sparky free rein. I certainly gave him a few suggestions, but ultimately I left the decision up to him.
There were a couple ideas that I contributed and they had to do with the guys’ day-of clothing.
The first thing was their bow tie. I knew I wanted them to have royal blue bow ties, so Sparky and I gifted them to the guys.

The other part of their day-of wear that we purchased for them were their socks.

You see, I saw photos like this and was smitten. Sparky also happens to like argyle socks, so we knew that we had to get some for our guys.

From there, Sparky was on his own to decide what he wanted to get as the guys’ actual gifts.
In the end, I suggested Sparky look at watches since he is a watch guy (also a shoe guy, fancy sock guy, and a bow tie opinion-having guy) and he took that idea and ran with it.
For Waffle, Taco, and Bagel, Sparky chose this watch:

Sparky decided to get a slightly different watch for Best Man Biscuits (his brother):
Claude Bernard 64010 via Amazon (no longer available)
Sparky wanted to get the guys something else as well, but couldn’t find anything he really wanted to gift them. For a while he tossed around the idea of getting them fancy pocket squares and had the idea to go to a shop in London during his layover on his South Africa work trip. Unfortunately, because of flight delays he didn’t end up with enough time to leave the airport and go in search of them. I assured him that the watches, socks, and bow ties would be plenty.
These gifts really do feel very Sparky driven, and I’m happy with what he ended up picking.
