Save the Date: Weddingbee Weekend of Action! #Beekind

SAVE THE DATE!

The Second Annual Hive-Wide Weddingbee Weekend of Action

Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24, 2013

For the second year in a row, we are organizing a Weddingbee Weekend Action—an opportunity for hive members all over the world to come together through community service projects. Saturday and Sunday, November 23rd and 24th, there will be projects going on in many cities, and everyone is invited to take part as we give back locally as a global community

Last year, we had 10 projects with about 30 community members engaged in hands-on volunteer projects. This year, we hope to blow that number out of the water and reach places all around the world. Read the recap of last year’s Weddingbee Weekend of Action here. Projects can include anything from serving a meal at a soup kitchen, to reading to children at a hospital, to cleaning at an animal shelter—if you identify a need, any project is possible. I am happy to brainstorm and research projects in your area with you as well.

If you would like to organize a project in your area, please email your Weddingbee name, real name, email address and location to hermitcrab@weddingbee.com no later than November 1, 2013.

On November 4, we will release more specific information about the projects in each city and begin taking sign ups for participation for each project. Save the date!

As we head into the holiday season, we have an opportunity to come together to make an impact in communities around the world. We hope you will join us in the effort this year!

Awesome! I’m so happy this is happening again :) . I’ll definitely think of something fun to do, even though there may be snow here (hopefully)!

@Mrs. Penguin: Do you know what you’re doing yet? I would love to try and join you if I can and maybe pengoala would also. :)
