Hi hive! We’re giving away $250 for you and your special someone for a fun and romantic date (perfect if you’re in the midst of wedding-planning craziness, or…ahem…totally broke post-wedding!). To enter simply vote for your favorite date out of the choices below, and leave a comment telling us which one you voted for!

Have you ever sat around on a Friday night with your SO, just trying to come up with something fun and different to do…only to settle for dinner at the same old restaurant and maybe a movie afterward? It can be tough to come up with outside-the-box date ideas…but the new site HowAboutWe for Couples has got your back!

HowAboutWe for Couples makes it easier for duos to plan super-fun and unique dates. Right now they curate dates in New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, and Seattle, and they’re adding more cities all the time!

Take a look at some of the unique dates they offer, and vote for your favorite one for a chance to win $250 toward a date!

New York City

Get out of the city and back to nature for a day of outdoor horseback riding and wine tasting. Giddyup!

Chicago

Visit Chicago’s official robot headquarters for a chance to build your own robot with your fiance(e) or spouse. You even get to take home your little guy or gal at the end of the night (a special perk for HowAboutWe for Couples)!

San Francisco

This one couldn’t be more perfect for the hive! Go bee-hind the scenes and interact with honeybees at a special bee hive viewing, then sip on some mead—honey ale and ambrosia—made especially for you at the SF Mead Company.

Seattle

Enjoy a cozy, romantic date at Chocolate Box. You get to choose from two delicious options: 1.) sit at the bar and enjoy a sampling of regional wines and truffles to pair with them, or 2.) sip on two tastings of three hot chocolates each. Yum!

Head on over to  HowAboutWe for Couples and take the tour to check out the different offerings in your city; browse the many date ideas for free! They come up with amazing date ideas for all budgets and all types of interests. They even have a section full of dates that are $25 or under! When you sign up for a date, they take care of all the details for you, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy.

When DH and I first started dating, he always came up with such unique date ideas. We never did the dinner and movie. We went to a quirky museum for our first date. After that we went to a glass blowing demonstration, ice skating, and paddle boat riding to name a few.

I voted for a robot workshop because that seems so unique. It is something we would both enjoy and have never done before.

Horseback riding, #1! My FI loved to ride when he was younger, and I wish I could surprise him with a chance to do it again.

    Cool contest!

I voted for the horseback riding & wine tasting! My SO would love the horseback riding because he’s very active, I’d love the wine tasting because it’s a great way to learn, relax and try something new. And if this is just outside of NYC, it would be a fantastic date after visiting two bridal shops I’d love to visit. Talk about an all-inclusive date, huh? ;)

I voted. My husband and I got married last year on March 9th. We didn’t go on a honeymoon, as it didn’t fit into our budget. Our one year anniversary is soon, almost a month away and I would LOVE to go on the horseback riding adventure. I know we would both enjoy a day togetherness, away from kids, and jobs to just enjoy each others company!!!
