Weddingbee® is a wedding blog updated daily by 20+ real brides across the US and Canada.  We feature blogs, boards, bios, classifieds, galleries, a diy template section and a wiki, with a core focus on real brides’ wedding planning journeys from engagement to “I Do” and beyond. The site is updated over 25 times a day and is read obsessively by brides, grooms, bridesmaids, women, wedding vendors and industry insiders alike.

As an avid blogger, publisher Bee Kim originally started Weddingbee® as a personal blog while planning her own wedding.  The site’s popularity prompted her to launch Weddingbee® as a stand-alone site in February of 2006. Currently, well over 1.5 million brides visit Weddingbee® every month, with over 16 million monthly pageviews (Google Analytics). Mrs. Penguin/Cathleya Schroeckenstein

Mrs. Penguin first became involved with Weddingbee® as she planned her own 2008 wedding. Shortly after she decided to leave her job as a creative writer/editor for TV and video and came on full time as Weddingbee’s editor in chief. She takes care of the day to day of Weddingbee from her home in Berkeley, CA with her dog Billie Jean by her side. When she’s not editing the blog, she’s out on a hike in the Berkeley hills with her husband or on the hunt for good sushi in the East Bay (it’s hard to find!). Find her on Twitter at @CathleyaS.

Mrs. Mouse/Holley Simons

Mrs. Mouse was introduced to Weddingbee while she was in law school and was instantly hooked. She began blogging about her Austin wedding for the site in June of 2009, and a year later, happily married, she came on board as an editor to help out Mrs. Penguin. A lawyer by day, she hopes to transition into a career in editing in the near future. Aside from editing and Weddingbee, Mrs. Mouse loves to read (especially fantasy and sci fi), listen to indie and classic rock (OK, and a little Beyonce), and drink coffee by the gallon. Bakerella/Veronica

Bakerella became a member of Weddingbee while planning her own 2010 wedding. Inspired by the talented and creative ladies of the blog and forums, she threw herself into DIY projects and came out the other side a smiling wife with a few hot glue gun burns! Bakerella enjoys creating homemade treats for her husband, stepson, and friends, as well as getting creative for her online shop. She works from home with her two faithful kitties by her side and a pot of tea to the right. When she’s not crafting or baking, Bakerella loves to snuggle up with a good book, watch movies with her husband, and poke around small towns on road trips. Stillmotion
