Mr. CB and I really are that busy that we do not have time to go to the stores to register in person for anything. He didn’t really understand the purpose of a registry at first either, or the need to put on a variety of items that people could choose from. He thought we could put just the few things we truly only wanted (even if it was like 3 or 4 items) then at least we would be able to get the things we really really needed. Doesn’t work that way honey! Who knows if anyone would even look there, or even decide to purchase from there? And even if they did, you have to list many different things to give them options. Since we had no time to enjoy the in-store experience with the gun, I did everything myself …. online.
What could we really need he said? Well tons! My online registering started off with a few simple items, topping it at 5. I ran out of things I thought we really needed: pots, pans, knives, flatware, mixer, and toaster oven. I went blank. Cohabitating for the first time, we have nothing to bring to our empty new place, so we needed EVERYTHING. Bachelorette Parties! Bridal Showers! Oh my! They’re all part of the fun that most brides get to enjoy before their weddings. I looooove planning parties and events in general, so it’s definitely a pleasure for me to be able to go all out and plan these types of things for others. But now that it’s my turn to have those events planned for me, it just seems so awkward and foreign, I feel extremely guilty for it all. Am I weird?

Andrew Hsu from Morning Star Videography, was a potential vendor we were planning to work with after my unfortunate no-GO with Monster Crayons. Although we had decided on our other option (more on that at a later time), Andrew was still extremely kind to offer his services even as a second opinion or just a sounding board. How nice is that?!

I’m sure I am stating the obvious when I say Wedding Planning doesn’t come easy. No sh*t right? Yeah well, that girl up there, that’s how I have been feeling the last week and a few weeks prior since coming back from my vacation. It’s one “hiccup” or huge speed bump after another but I’m coping. Trust me, I’ve felt like kicking, screaming, kicking someone’s arse, or just plain crying. We’ve had it planned since a while ago, but we finally asked our ring attendant to honor us in keeping the rings. Ring attendant sounded odd, just because he’s no little ringbearer - he’s Mr. CB’s 20 something younger brother.
We really wanted his younger brother to be a part of the wedding. But seeing as we also had really close friends that we wanted as a part of the wedding party, we wanted to give him a role that was important to us that he could take part in. Therefore, we asked him to hold the rings for us the day of. When the officiant asks for the rings, he will stand up and hand them to the officiant. Yeahs….

On average, I’d like to say I get about 2 - 3 packages a week at work. It’s a good thing they come straight to me, because if someone else had to sign for and deliver them, I think they’d get a little P’Od.

My BMs and I had shot around a few different ideas from pictures I gather online, but really I had no set dress. My biggest concerns:
Would/Should I buy two different dresses? One for first day, one for the second?
What look am I going for?
What style do I want?
Should each of the gals wear the same dress?
Long or short? If short, then we’d have to shop for matching shoes possibly?
Comfort for my gals
The list of questions boggled me blarghiness. The only things we went in with were a long dress and every gal wearing the same one. Other than that, I wanted to keep an open mind to everything that fit in that category and what was available at the store to see which worked best and most comfortably for all the chicas.

That be my ring guard that Mama CB gifted to me. The weather’s been extra cold and I’ve been losing some weight. Mama CB freaked out when she saw how loose my ring was and insisted I had a ring guard… which is totally Cool Beans except I didn’t expect that. She said, you gotta PROTECT yo investment! Well not exactly like that, she more like demanded it in Chinese… especially since she did after all, assist Mr. CB in the purchase, so she was looking out for our best interest. It’s considered an early bday gift I can later wear on my right hand! Woop Woop! I definitely don’t want to resize the e-ring bc when the weather gets warmer, them puppies might plump up like mad, then what? Or what if I put back all my weight and more after the wedding * gasp* !
