About Me: I am a lazy scrapbooker who loves the instant gratification of making cards and I am very easily distracted by all things shiny. In honor of my childhood nights spent hibachi BBQing on the beach with my family, we are hosting a traditional New England Clambake for our reception.
This installment of my ‘Looking Back’ series* focuses on one of the details about my big day that I am very, very grateful for:I was able to work out a way for my dad to participate.
My father is a wonderful, amazing man. I am so incredibly fortunate to be loved by someone with such a big heart. As ridiculously sentimental as this sounds, two of…

Basically, every single wedding I have ever attended, has started late. Apparently this is not uncommon, as every time I mentioned to anyone-who-would-listen that our wedding would NOT start late, people just started hysterically laughing at me.
So, I made sure that…

Well, I just found a lovely little Custom Designed Paper Purse maker who has named her company, “How Cute is This?” and I can tell you the name does not lie.
Each of these gems below are hand made by Iris Adams from the most beautiful papers.…

…Mrs Corn here, reporting the final installment of our visit to Paper-Source this weekend for their wedding event. Earlier installments include:
Defending oneself from Miss Toucan brandishing a hot embossing torch
and
Satiating our appetites for both yummy sweets and delectably calligraphic writing
By far, the most exciting thing that happened during our visit to the store was that we (or rather, our Weddingbee shirts) were recognised by Hayley…

We were all exhausted from our crafting-gone-wild experiment, making our lovely, embossed take-out boxes. Luckily, I can smell wedding cake from a mile away and I was able to focus our energies on getting to the other side of the store where there was a cake tasting!

Miss Canary came to Boston this weekend for a visit and included a stop at the Paper-Source in Brookline in her itinerary. The store was holding their annual wedding workshop complete with demonstrations and refreshments.
Miss Toucan and I, never ones to miss an opportunity for free cake (not to mention the opportunity to meet Miss Canary in person), took it upon ourselves to meet up…

Unfortunately, the most perfect book for me, was also spiral bound. So I bought it, demolished…

I highly recommend this book if you are at the beginning of your planning for your wedding. The information in it is mostly the same as what you see in most wedding magazines… I mean, let’s face…

So…many, many moons ago, I posted about our non-existent wedding budget that had originally started out around $5,000 when we were joking around, hovered around $20,000 for a while and ended up around $30,000.We had a very complex vendor spreadsheet with all of our payments (cash and credit) that we worked with for most of the planning. However, in addition to the vendor spreadsheet, I…

You see…Mr Corn and his cousin share the same New Year’s Eve birthday. Thirteen years ago, when Mr Corn turned 21, he made a promise to his cousin that he would take her to do anything she wanted, which included going anywhere in the United States 1st Class, when she turned 21.

Just came inside from taking a few pics of our house in the snow we have been receiving for the past three days. I figured I would post one since it looks so festive.
