I wasn’t a bee yet when this series started, but I planned on applying and hoped they would bring it back because I really wanted to participate. I don’t even have any fun secret-y type things to tell you all. Seriously, I sat in front my computer screen for a while trying to think of funny or interesting thing about me and this is all I could think of… I need to get out more.
1 – When I find an article of clothing I really like I buy a bunch of them and wear the crap out of it. In college it was overalls (What? It was technically still the ’90s), after that, hoodies, and now cardigans. I’ve also recently rediscovered tights, so if spring doesn’t happen soon, I may have another addiction on my hands.
2 – When I see a street with my name on it, I insist on taking my picture with the sign.

My favorite post is definitely our first trip with Sheldon. It’s the first post about a fun and funny tradition Mr Frenchie and I started for our little family. Sheldon has since gone on a couple more adventures with us and it’s been a really great way to document our vacations, aside from the standard pictures we would take. Another reason I loved this post was because I wasn’t sure if you’d all think I was crazytown for bringing a miniature gnome on our honeymoon and taking pictures of him all over Vermont and Canada. The fact that a lot of you all do something similar or wanted to start a similar tradition made me smile. It’s a reminder of what a great community we have here!

Hi Hive, I’m back! Mr Frenchie and I got back from our fabulous honeymoon Wednesday night and we’re already back at work (but only for 2 days, thank God). I’m trying to catch up on work in the office, but I can’t stay away from Weddingbee. Like many married bees before me, I’m waiting for my pro photos to recap our wedding. In the meantime, I have a few last minute projects to fill you in on and a honeymoon to talk about!
I forget where I saw this, but I read about a couple that brought a tiny stuffed animal with them when they traveled and took its picture along the way. I told Mr Frenchie about it and we thought it would be fun to bring the desk gnome I bought him a few years ago, along on our travels.

As you can probably tell, The French Bulldogs didn’t shy away from your typical wedding timeline. Mr Frenchie and I had been to a few wedding while we were dating and took notes on the things we liked and didn’t like. We really like when couples would get the speeches out of the way at the beginning, when you were still full from cocktail hour and happy you were sitting down. So, after our first dance, we went right into the speeches.

After our first dance (P.S. there’s a video here, if you missed it) we sat down and went straight into the speeches. However, I want to show you the details first.
You may or may not remember that ourwedding had a birdietheme. Mr Frenchie was really nervous, once the themed started taking shape, that our wedding would have too many birds. (Is there such a thing?) I really tried not to go crazy, while Mama Frenchie kept finding more and more birdie things to add. I think we accomplished a nice balance of birdies.
