Mr Frenchie and I both agree that our last day in Vermont was the BEST day of our honeymoon.
When we knew we’d be starting and ending our honeymoon in Vermont, Mr Frenchie tried to find a way for us to boat around Lake Champlain... in hopes of seeing Champ. Sea Monsters have been an inside joke between Mr Frenchie and I since we started dating, and the Vermont U-Haul seems to follow us wherever we go.

The most exciting part about the two FULL days we spent in Montreal, (besides our free breakfast, and happy hour) was going to a museum I’d seen in our travel book. Pointe-à-Callière was just 3 blocks down the street from our hotel. It was nice not to need our car to get somewhere.

After lunch at The Essex, Mr Frenchie and I piled our suitcases in to our trusty Rogue and headed for the Canadian border.
Once across the border (which was totally easy, by the way) we drove about 3 hours to Quebec City. Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America and also the only remaining fortified city.

Mr Frenchie and I left very early the Monday morning after our wedding. It was nice to have a complete day to relax by the pool at the Rancho Bernardo Inn.
