Thanks to everyone for all your help on the Registry wiki article! I was really blown away by how many of you participated. We got 9 great registry tips, along with tons of useful lists. You can check out the article here.
Let’s try another article - this one on favors:
I chose honey favors for my wedding, since I am a Bee after all. 
It was a lot of work tying ribbons and favors tags onto each jar of honey. So my favor tip for you, if you’re going to tie favor tags onto each favor using ribbon, block out at least a day of your life!
Also, we wrestled with whether or not to get the honey in small or medium sized pots. In the end, we compromised for budget reasons and got the smallest size. It was a tough decision at the time, but we realized later that nobody really cared that we didn’t get the largest size. So another favor tip is, don’t spend too much on your favors. And if it’s not important to you, don’t feel pressured to get favors at all!

I added the bit about the honey straws, and I just wanted to say that I hope it doesn’t come across that you (Mrs. Bee) are *not* frugal since you went with jars of honey. That wasn’t my intent at all, but please feel free to edit it if it doesn’t sound right!
I made an edit, but never saw it show up. Are all edits approved before they are posted?
Also, is it possible to add images to these wiki’s? If so, a weddingbee post detailing how to do this would be great!
i’m not going to tamper with the main document but just wanted to add (in case it wasn’t already) CDs as a favorite/popular favor.
songs from your relationship or songs played on the wedding day. this is one favor that probably wont get tossed by the majority of your guests.
also, baked goods, specifically cookies, is a good one.
(lol. i’ve listed both favor ideas i am strongly considering for myself. i could be a little biased.)

I added it to the “weddingbee post” list, but maybe something like belongs in the “thoughts on” charity favors list? That seems like a section that’s asking for opinions instead of facts/tips/ideas… I haven’t been much of a wiki editor in the past…
honestly, I like the wiki idea–but I feel like possibly a similar effect could be achieved through a well maintained use of tags (and maybe with less work/duplication?)
brendalynn-Don’t you like the idea that anyone can now be a contributing member of weddingbee now? I think that is the beauty of a Wiki.
