When we were first told they were part of the venue rental I was actually kind of indifferent but I can’t tell how happy I am that we had them. They set the mood beautifully with happy, celebratory music. None of us speak Spanish so I have no idea what songs they played but it didn’t matter. Still on an amazing high, we stepped off the aisle into the main papala and were instantly surrounded with people wanting to give us hugs, kisses and congratulations. I love that Mama-In-Law Meerkat was the first.

Before we get too far along with the recaps I want to tell y’all a little story.
Back when we first started planning the wedding, Bridesmaid K asked if she could make me something special to wear. She wanted to make me an ankle bracelet that contained my something old, new, borrowed, blue on it. I have a serious thing for ankle bracelets so it was the perfect idea. Well, time passed and as the wedding drew closer, I got so busy I forgot. When I did remember the night before we left for Mexico, it was one of those too little, too late moments.
