I love photo booths! For the longest time I felt it was out of my budget and I couldn’t decide if I would keep the pictures for myself (muhahahaha), or give them to the guests as favors. Then I came across Redcheese photo booths. These digital photo booths fit up to 8 people at the same time and you have the option of printing out doubles. You can also opt to get a CD file of all the prints, and have them host your pictures on their website with a password so guests can view and purchase them after the event. My favorite “extra” is you can add a personalized banner to the bottom of the pictures. You can design a logo for your wedding and it will print out with every set of photos.

My bridesmaids and I headed out to Aria Bridesmaids in Pasadena this past weekend. Mrs. Bee posted about them earlier this year. I just wanted to say that I had a fabulous experience with them. You have to make an appointment and when you go, you and your girls get the whole place to yourselves. The silk shaunting material is absolutely gorgeous and all my bridesmaids LOVED the dresses. They all said that they would definitely be able to wear them again which was really important to me. The colors were fabulous - so rich and vibrant. It made me so happy and excited to be in their showroom. I want one for myself now!!!
Here are all the pretty dresses lined up.

Words can’t describe how excited I am to be a blogger for Weddingbee. I feel like I’ve won Miss America….without the crown, flowers, cash prizes or weird guy singing a cheesy song. Okay not quite the same but you know what I mean. I’ve spent the morning telling everyone I’ve come in contact with (most look at me like I’m nuts but hey… I don’t care because I’m that darn excited).
I’ve been an avid reader since early this year even though a lot of the posts were New York based. I’ll be representing So-Cal/The OC for all you Californians, but I’ll be posting wedding ideas that everyone can relate to.
I’m definitely a DIY bride and my wedding has lot of beach flavor without the “cheese and corn” (although…I do like a little cheese and corn). We are getting married on the beach in Laguna Beach, CA and our reception is aboard a 148 foot yacht in Newport Beach Harbor. I’ve been engaged for FOREVER (since September 2004) and I definitely have done a TON of research that I will be happy to share with everyone. The funny thing is since my wedding is 7/7/7 (the most popular wedding date of the century), a long engagement actually worked out well.
Okay, enough about me (for now). I look forward to blogging and reading everyone’s comments. Miss Hibiscus….that has an amazing ring to it! Hooray for me!
