I absolutely loovvveeeee arts and crafts. I used to half jokingly say that my dream was to become the Korean Martha Stewart because my initials are also M.S. Haha. What I like best about arts and crafts is that your product is your own unique creation, and it’s usually cheaper than if you were to buy it.
For some reason, I am obsessed with my wedding being unique and special. Yesh, yesh, everyone’s wedding is unique and special in its own way, but do you ever wish that yours was SUPER special?? Hahaha, call me childish, but that’s why I think I want to try and do almost everything DIY!
I shall start out simple - starting with the STDs. Our STD will be magnets that our guests can stick on their refrigerator. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m on a pretty tight budget so cost-saving is an absolute must! Below are some cost saving tricks that I considered and/or used for my STD.

No, not the disease - Save the Date!! I remember when I first started reading the blogs of other brides, and I would come across acronyms such as BM or MOH or STD. I figured most of them out but when I came across STD, I was like 8O?
Now I know. Teehee. (Maybe I will write up a acronym dictionary entry next for new comers.) Anyways, below is what my talented fiance created - all from scratch (drawing and everything)! I love it that he’s an artist. I will milk it for all it’s worth during planning. Muhaha~
Jiggle-Proof

It’s approximately 5 months until my wedding and I probably should start thinking of my workout plan.
A very rough outline of my plan so far:
1) Watch what I eat: limit snacks, no soda/juice- only water, try to avoid fatty and/or fried foods.
2) Work out: 4 times a week!
And that’s it. Hahaha. Okay, well let me elaborate more on my work out. I’ll do cardio: running/elliptical for about 20 minutes. And then I’ll do some lifting/free weights BUT only concentrating on my arms. I realize, in my wedding dress, that’s the only area that will really be seen by everyone else. (Yes of course, after the wedding I want to look good for my honeymoon, but we’re actually taking our honeymoon 2 months later so I have a bit more time.)
So back to the arms… well, it’s really the arms and pectoral area. You know how when you wear a tube top or strapless dress the fat between your arms and torso sometimes gets pinched. I absolutely HATE that. So my goal: make my upper body jiggle proof! I found some great workouts on-line to get me started:

Eeeekkk~ so excited! 
We finally booked our honeymoon! We will be staying at the luxurious 5 star, all-inclusive Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. According to Trip Advisor, the average room rate is $500 a night, but of course we didn’t pay anywhere near that price (cuz trust me, this girl is on a tight budget)!
We were really close to booking with Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana, but (FYI) I discovered that all Secrets Excellence resorts are undergoing a change of management and thus felt that previous raves about this hotel chain wouldn’t necessarily hold true in the near future.
So yeah, Paradisus Palma Real it is! We ended up booking through Orbitz because they had the best deal (hotel + flight)! Currently the have a special promotion where you can:

I mean rings. 
My fiance and I went ring shopping last week. It was so much fun! Although I think by the 5th store my fiance was getting really tired, and I have to admit that after awhile, you lose track of what you saw where and you notice that the styles are not too different from store to store.
We did our shopping a the Jersey Gardent Outlet Mall where they had several diamond outlet stores (Zales, CR Jewelers, just to name a few) and even a jewelry exchange section with many more stores. The great thing about shopping for wedding bands at an outlet store vs. a regular store is that you will find almost the exact same rings (because wedding band trends do not differ dramatically over time) sold at a huge discounted price.
We didn’t buy our rings yet, but our favorites for the day were (mine/his)…
My engagement ring is a very simple platinum 6-prong band, so I decided I wanted a little more bling for my wedding band. As for my fiance, he’s actually not the type to have a diamond in his ring (he was originally thinking just a super simple band), but thought this one was not as boring as a plain band, while not too over-the-top.
Yes! One more psuedo check-off. Haha. Yes, I have checks and pseudo checks. Come on now, cut me some slack… I gotta feel like I’m making some progress here. 
Calling All The Fashion Police Out There!

Okay… soooo I picked out my three top outfits I want to share with you. Before I post the pictures, I have two comments…
1. I am a bit shy, so please excuse my hidden face in the pictures. It kinda looks freaky actually now that I look at it. Sowie… I will reveal my identity in time, for now, please be patient with me. Thanks!
2. I wish I could say I’m super fashionable, but I think sometimes my sense of fashion is a little off. Puhaha. So yeah, please be honest and let me know what you really think! For ex. I ran these pictures by my sister and she thought the skirt outfit made me look short (or shorter than I really am and I’m pretty short) and the folded jeans looked weird on me. Honesty is the best policy to make Miss Peach look lovely for her e-pics.

White vs. Ivory

Does it look weird if your wedding dress is white but your bridesmaids dresses are ivory and another color?
How about if your dress is white and your flowers are ivory? Or your dress is ivory but your flowers are white?
In the beginning I was 100% sure I wanted a white wedding dress. Then I tried on a few ivory dresses and realized that some ivory tones complement my pale skin better. But in the end, I ended up ordering a white dress.
I am just throwing these quesitons out there because for my bridesmaid dresses I would like some sort of trim/ribbon and was wondering if ivory would even be an option for the trim color. What do you think?

A Proper Hello + E-pic Outfit Dilemmas

OoOOoo!! Excited! (Sorry that my first entry was without a proper hello, so I shall start here)…
Hi YALL!!
I, like all the other new fruits/flower, am so excited to be a WeddingBee blogger! Thank you for your warm welcome already. ^_^ I currently live in NJ but will be having my wedding in my hometown, in the suburbs of Atlanta, GA, so my planning will take place a bit here and there. I have 5 months left and am beginning to feel the pressure, so kick me if I start sounding like a bridezilla.
The current thing on my to-do list: Engagement pictures. They have been pushed back to Sunday (as long as it doesn’t rain). A question that a reader, Beth, brought up and one I’ve been pondering as well… what should I wear?? I have a few outfits picked out but currently Mr. Peach has my digital camera (I won’t be seeing him until tomorrow so I won’t be able to post pictures until then).
