Early on Friday morning, we held the traditional Vietnamese ceremony at my parent’s home. It’s a long-ish and complicated ceremony, so I won’t bore ya’ll with the details - well, that and I’m not certain what everything symbolizes and that morning was just a blur

To save time, we took portraits before our ceremony at our ceremony/reception site - Marie Gabrielle in uptown Dallas, Texas. It was very relaxed, fun, and was definitely one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. It allowed us to spend cocktail hour mingling with some of our guests and taking only a couple photos with our guests before the reception…

My gown is really REALLY dirty after having been worn not once, but TWICE to two different receptions and ceremonies. The underside of the gown is filthy - the gown basically acted as a broom/mop wherever I went. I have something that is reminiscent of a thin chocolate smear on the bodice.
I went to the recommended cleaner/preservationist of my gown designer and they quoted me…

Before walking down the aisle, Lisa, our coordinator, tucked us into the lobby of the Rolex building (next door to our venue) to hide from the guests. She provided us with some yummy champagne and water bottles to help pass the time.
