An excerpt from a groomsman conversation today
GM: OMG I can’t be a groomsman anymore -I don’t want to be in front of all those people bc I haven’t had enough time to work out yet!
Groom: Seriously?
GM: OMG YEAHHH - Everyone’s gonna be looking at me! I need to look good - I might back out if I don’t lose 5 lbs by the end of the week. I’m going to hit the gym every night this week.
Apparently, weddings are about different things to different people.
Who knew?
I have 2 last minute cancellations, but the seated dinner/open bar have already been paid for!
I don’t want to really ask people we know because they might get offended that they weren’t originally invited!
I suppose we’ll just have to eat the cost, huh?
What is the proper etiquette for this type of situation anyhow?

In one word: yum! Le Gateau definitely did not disappoint - despite a few minor snafus yesterday morning - like how the guy dropped and essentially destroyed the cake on the floor while boxing it up for me, the cake turned out beautifully and it was absolutely yummy! It was so moist and fluffy and definitely tasted fresh. We had their signature white cake with fresh strawberry filling.
It’s not supposed to rain on the last weeekend of June - it’s SUMMERtime for cryin’ out loud!
Fiance: My mom keeps asking me about your shower and what a lingerie party is…
Like… Just lingerie only or like a lot of other stuff like lotions
Me: OMG ur mom is kinky
Me: hahaha
Me: its pretty much whatever u want to give but yes with a mind towards getting me something that i can use as a newlywed I think
Fiance: Cause she’s like…what’s a lingerie party - I’ve only heard of bridal showers
Fiance: First she was like…is she wanting us to come in lingerie?
Me: hahahahahha
Me: OMG say yes! 
Huh? I am such a nerd! My FI called me today and giddily told me that he had bought my wedding present today when he was shopping with his parents.
He told me “Honey! I got your wedding present today, I think you’ll reallyyyy like it!”
Me: WAIT! DONT TELL ME! I want to be surprised!
Him: Ok
Me: Well…. I kind of want to know, but then I don’t. Just tell my sister what you got me
