I finished the invites for the bridesmaids’ tea last week and just got around to taking pictures of them to share with you.

I really wanted the invitations for the tea to be special, as each of my bridesmaids have been a huge help and done so much for me. I’m really excited about hosting a tea for them and have a bunch of fun ideas in store… I’m actually working on the menu today and will share everything once I get it put together.

With just over two weeks to go, I actually am pretty calm (I know, shocker!).

We only have a couple of DIY projects left, and this past weekend we drove up to NY for my sister’s graduation and took almost all of the wedding crap with us, including the gifts for everyone who is helping with anything. While we were at home, we also got our marriage license, so here we are - we can officially get married in the State of NY!!!

As I posted about earlier, after a good amount of research (ok, I just asked my married friends) I learned that the guest book is not usually seeked out and if it is, people just sign their name. Therefore, I didn’t want to spend too much time or energy on it, so I decided to just whip it up with a kit from Paper-Source.

Here are a few pics from the process and the final result.  Using the kit, it was quite easy.

You start by cutting out your cover paper to 2 inches bigger than the cover board and gluing that on…

After a lot of debate, I have decided to make the guest book, even though I need another DIY like a hole in my head.  I took a poll of my married friends and most of them said people didn’t really write a ton in the book and several people missed it all together, so I decided to forgo spending a lot on it.

I went and purchased the pieces from a bookbinding kit at Paper-Source yesterday (total cost of the things I had to purchase - around $37).

I already have a boning tool, the glue brush and plenty of paper.

I feel like recently I have a split personality… One minute I am feeling totally productive about the things we are getting done for the wedding and the next minute I am freaking out about how much there is left to do in less than a month…

Today, I tackled the programs! Julia, one of my interns, actually did most of the work on putting it together. We made it in Illustrator and it will be printed on Luxe white paper along with the rest of the pieces for the welcome bags.

So, without any futher ado…

BFF Bridal featured C.O. Bigelow’s Mentha Lip Shine today as a cool product to put in your hospitality basket in the bathrooms for the reception.

Now, these are super cute, but $375 for 50 containers of them seems a bit pricey. (If they fit your budget, you can get them at Vivre.)

I have been working on putting together a list of what I need to get for bathroom baskets…What have you seen at weddings that you thought was really thoughtful/helpful, and/or what are you doing for your wedding?

I can’t believe our wedding is just over a month away.

Mr. Raspberry and I have both been very busy with work, hence my slight absence lately…Haute Papier just got an office and we have been moving in and remodeling the last two weeks, but we are almost completely in, which means more on Weddingbee from me!

I finished up the design for our favor tags (see below) which will be attached to the cute little bottles of (REAL) maple syrup. The papers I used are the same ones I have been using for all our paperie, and our names are stamped and embossed from a stamp I made from the calligraphy of our names that we had done for the invitations. The pinkish ribbon is the same color as we will use in the girls’ flowers.
