About Me: Organized, but messy. I love art (all kinds). I don't have any secrets. I talk a lot and listen even more. I show love by baking. I'm timid by nature, but brave when it counts.
Mr. Bunny and I work at competing weekly newspapers, which makes it a little interesting trying to describe our work joys and frustrations without giving away too much before the paper comes out. In spite of that little hurdle, we've managed to build a pretty solid relationship in the short one-and-a-half years we will have been together when we tie the knot. I can't wait!
I feel the need to explain a little more thoroughly about the role that my religious beliefs played in Runaway Bride, Parts I and II.
You already know that I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder about a year before our wedding. It was a huge step for me to recognize that most of the time, what I was feeling was anxiety based in physiology and…

This two-part post is called Runaway Bride, but at this point in the story, I looked more like this:

This was me, two weeks before my wedding day.
OK, so remember way back when I was still a new blogger here, before I got married?
I wrote this big, long post about how Mr. Bunny and I were fantastic together, even though I was very doubtful of our relationship at times. And how it was mostly about me and my anxiety disorder, not about Mr. Bunny.

Alright. I’ve stalled out in telling you the story of the Bunny Bridal Countdown, leaving you in suspense after my hair trial, 18 days away from my wedding. I’m sorry.
But there’s a good reason for why I’ve avoided the next step in my tale for so long. This is the part where everything started to go wrong. *covers face in hands*

It’s just a jump to the left, and then a step to the riiiiiight ... Let’s do the time warp again!
(Only 18 days left in the Bunny Bridal Countdown, but don’t worry. That doesn’t mean 18 posts. We’ll get to the good stuff soon, I promise!)

A few days before our wedding, I found out there’d be an unexpected guest. Oh yes, ladies, you know who I mean.
Good ol’ Aunt Flo decided to show up two or three days out. Lovely.

Oy, the Bunny Bridal Countdown has been languishing as of late. We’d best get a move on or it’ll be my first anniversary before I finish recapping that shindig!
After polishing off the too-small experimental Pepperidge Farm coconut cake, I was back to square one with no cake ideas.
All the cakes I saw online were too fancy or too complicated. I wanted something simple, rustic, and…

Don’t forget to hop in your time machine for the Bunny Bridal Countdown!
Can you believe that in all my days of planning, I was still without a plan for a wedding cake with less than a month to go?
Neither Mr. Bunny nor I have ever been too keen on cake, so we planned on having a homemade cookie bar instead. Mama Bunny, however, insisted we at least have a cake to cut.

I really liked the way our invitations turned out, but if I could do it over again (and had a load of cash to spend on postage, or only 30 guests), I would swipe this idea.
Photographer Jessica Claire (known in the photography world for the invention of the Shootsac) DIYed these beauties for her own wedding.
I almost drooled on my keyboard when I saw them.…

This post has been a loooong time coming. I had a lot of... concerns about writing about this issue, but I really think I need to share my experience, so here it goes!
With 21 days left until our wedding, Mr. Bunny and his "buddies", as he likes to call them, took off for his bachelor party. They spent Friday night at a campground in southern Ohio and then moseyed on down to Athens to spend the day in his old college town. From what I heard, it was a rollicking good time!
While Mr. Bunny was away, I took advantage of my privacy to work on his wedding gift.

Learning to love the ’bee
I found Weddingbee sometime during the summer of 2008. A friend of mine was planning her wedding and had started her own wedding blog, linking several popular wedding blogs — including Weddingbee — in her side bar. I read posts here and there for months.
I have to be honest, after clicking over a couple of times, I was kind of scared.…

Looking down at my left hand is making me sad today because there’s no pretty wedding band there! I feel as though I’ve been downgraded from wife to fiancee!
The reason I’m having to go without my wedding band for the time being is a little complicated.
First, I know I told you that we were getting my engagement ring engraved instead of my wedding band because it’s 3/4 openwork. We ended up changing our minds on that point.

I was going to save this post for later, but a tweet from Mrs. Peony this morning has prompted me to seize the day and share some of our wedding day deets!
I’d never seen the trend of having photobooths at weddings until I started reading wedding blogs, but I was immediately taken with the idea. I love getting my picture “drawn” at those dinky photobooths…

We interrupt your regularly scheduled programming of the Bunny Bridal Countdown to bring you a PSA on makeup.
Because only Mrs. Bunny would interrupt her recaps to talk about makeup, right?
By now you probably know that I’m a proponent of what a good makeup brush can do for DIY makeup.
Specifically, I’m speaking of a nice, round, compact blush brush. I do most of my makeup…

Welcome back to the Bunny Bridal Countdown!
When we last left our intrepid heroine, Miss Bunny was having a major meltdown over her seamstress’ prediction that her dress couldn’t be altered to fit.
The dress was much too tight. It fit fine when I bought it of course, but I’m the type that gains weight when I’m stressed out… and believe me, wedding planning stressed me out!
Then-Miss…
