Mr. Socks and I are foodies and winos to the core---give us a hunk of cheese, some charcuterie and a glass of wine and we could die happy. We have two mischievous Wire Fox Terriers with completely opposite personalities but with a shared love of uprooting anything in our garden. Our backyard garden includes everything from tomatoes and peppers to a fig tree, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries! I love cooking, indie music, and spending time in our wedding city of choice---Philly!

I can’t believe that I’m a BEE! When Pengy emailed me, I was in the car driving to Ohio for my sister’s wedding, went straight to her bachelorette party, fell into bed afterwards, and didn’t get the email until the next day. But when I DID get it, I acted a fool, believe me! I screamed at the top of my lungs and my mom and sister didn’t even know what to think! I didn’t have too much time for my bee status to sink in though––Sister Socks’ wedding was the next day and I had some maid of honor duties to handle!

So just coming from my sister’s wedding and with my wedding in four months (my parents are having a VERY busy year), I have so much to talk about!

And just who are the Socks’? We are wine-loving Philly transplants from the Midwest––I’m from Cincinnati, Mr. Socks is from Detroit. I came to Philly for college and Mr. Socks moved to Southern NJ for his job as an engineer. We met via eHarmony during my senior year at Drexel University and we truly are compatible on 27 different levels (thanks eHarmony)! We have two adorable Wire Fox Terriers who keep us on our toes, and a garden that is just never big enough for all that we’d love to grow.
