This Sunday morning, June 1st, Mrs. Bee, Miss Lovebird and I are going to see the much anticipated and long awaited movie — Sex and the City.

We’re sorry the picnic got rained out, but would still love to meet some of you. After the movie we’re planning on getting a cupcake (or in my case banana pudding) at Magnolia’s — YUM.

Such cute things on clearance at Pottery Barn. Mr. Onion and I bought a beautiful bench that should arrive tomorrow (sadly not on sale) that we’ll be using as a coffee table/extra seating for guests.

After our cocktail hour was over we headed upstairs to the second floor of the restuarant where we hosted our reception.

As Miss Gingerbread shared with us, same-sex couples now have the right to get married in California. I know that Mrs. Blueberry already shared the rumor that Ellen DeGeneres was getting married, but I wanted to share, if you haven’t heard already, that Ellen formally announced her engagement to long time girlfriend, Portia de Rossi.

After our walk up the marketplace from the church to our reception, all our guests were greeted by Amaretto Sours. Our cocktail hour was held outside on the patio in front of the restaurant. Our guitarist, Brendan Burns, was there to set the mood playing wonderful jazz standards and people really began to enjoy the party.

Sugar Lip Treatment by Fresh is one of my favorite skin care products. I was first introduced to Fresh from their perfume (which I wore on my wedding day). Some girls wear many different perfumes — I wear one every day, and that is Fresh Sugar.

After we had a little time with our friends and family outside the church, we led a processional of all our guests up the Church Street Marketplace. Fun fact: downtown Burlington, VT was designed by the same people who designed downtown Boulder, CO (known as Pearl Street Mall).

Like Mrs. Bee, we haven’t ordered our wedding photo album yet. We were married almost 7 months ago and for the last few months our 1900+ photo proofs have been sitting our our sideboard waiting for me to prioritize them.
