I LOVE, LOVE your site… it really helps me out a lot.
I have a question for your readers. I have a bra size of 36 C or D and I feel that maybe a v neck would be the way to go for a wedding dress, and that it would be the most flattering. I was wondering if there were any of your readers who also have a problem with deciding which features on a dress make their boobs not big, but make ‘em look nice?
I’m not a skinny girl with big breasts, I have a really curvy body (think Beyonce) and my boobs have always caused me trouble in finding outfits. I picked out a wedding dress but the front part is a round cut, and I’m afraid it doesn’t flatter my cup size.
Thanks in advance!
Sincerely,
AL
Dear weddingbee:
I am hoping to find out if anyone has been to or purchased from Lace Star (215 West 40th Street). They have beautiful lace on the website. My mom is making my wedding dress and some of their French lace is perfect. She’s coming to visit Connecticut for 3 days, so I don’t want to drive to NYC unless it’s worth it. Any help would be awesome!
Thanks!

I love you guys! I check in every day and read the posts. It’s been wonderful help.
Here’s my question, does anyone know of a brand of ink pads that don’t smear OR take a decade to dry? I use stamps to “pretty up” my personal note cards (like Mrs. Ladybug ~ she gave me some great ideas ~ thank you!), but when I’m ready to seal and send, it’s just a mess and ends up looking tacky. Any suggestions ~ I’ve even used a hairdryer.

Hi there Ms. Bee,
I’m looking for a Korean woman in Manhattan to do my makeup. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.
I loove your blog.

I have been having a really tough time coming up with an idea for favors for my October reception. Personally, I don’t “get” the whole favor idea. This isn’t something that was a big deal where I grew up. I always figured that feeding my guests a nice meal and throwing a big party showed my appreciation for their involvement in my happy day - that makes me sound like a curmudgeon doesn’t it?
With that said, I did decide that it is an accepted practice these days and that some people might be expecting something. I finally found something that makes me happy to give to my guests! Charity favors!
I found a website that helps organize the whole thing. You sign up and tell them either how much per guest or give them one lump sum and they will provide cards that show what charity you have donated to in honor of their attendance as well as make the donation to the charity for you. They have a list of charities to chose from or you can submit your own. The website is the I Do Foundation.
You can also register on the website if you wish to have guests donate to a charity rather than buy you a gift.
My aunt was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) in October of last year - so the organization was an easy choice for me. Since my dad’s family (it’s his sister) will make up 95% of the guest list, I know that it will be a welcomed favor

Has anyone else done charity favors? Does anyone have any feedback from guests on them?

In the commentary for the movie “Just Married”, Brittany Murphy says that her character wore open-toed shoes at her wedding and that in real life she wouldn’t have done so, because it’s a faux-pas. Have you ever heard that before?

Hi,
Your website continues to be an invaluable resource leading up to our wedding.
Now that the day is almost here, we are wondering about who needs to be tipped. We’ve already taken care of the limo driver in our final payment.
But what about everyone else? Do the following need to be tipped? Are they expecting a tip? What percentage?
Thanks!

I was wondering if you could post this… I found these really really cute korean bride & groom cake toppers, and I’m desperately looking for them. I’ve already done countless online searches with no luck.

Hi Peachy!
I actually own those same wooden dolls! I puchase them from the duty-free shops at the airports each time I visit Korea. In fact I’ve given them to my friends as gifts before! Unfortunately I haven’t seen them in the States anywhere. They’re also about 9 inches tall and quite heavy in case you can’t tell in the pictures. But they are oh so cute!
Anyone else know where Peachy might purchase these Korean wedding dolls?

Am I the only one with the “wedding is almost here nightmares?” The one where everything that could go wrong does. I see everything picture perfect it’s almost scary!

Hi weddingbee!
I was wondering if you could assist me in finding individual milk in glass jars. I’m hoping to have chocolate chip cookies and milk for a favor and can’t find milk in glass jars for the life of me! Help!
Thanks!
