This is the layout for the bridesmaid newsletter I created last month…
The Front and Back cover. On the Front, I wrote “a letter from the bride” like a letter from the editor in magazines. On the Back, I found a barcode font so I was able to type my own personalized barcode and to look like a real magazine.
I will be recapping our trip in the next few entries, but I would like to summarize some of the highlights first that I think might either be helpful or just plain cool!
#1-Everyone has an awesome dog!
#2-Everything is organic AND it’s not difficult to eat organic.
#3-San Francisco has some top notch chefs and the flavors are so complex.
#4-Transportation is excellent whether you BART or Muni it.
#5-Wear layers! It goes from hot in the afternoon to windy and chilly in the evening.
City Pass: $49 Gets you into select museums either at a discount or without waiting in lines. We did just about everything in our coupon book. It also allows you onto the muni and trolley for free. This was very useful because we hopped off and on the muni all the time. I highly recommend this.

What a better way to be initiated into weddingbee than by meeting a bee. Knowing I was going to San Francisco for a few days, I hunted Miss Plumeria down. Miss & Mr. Plumeria, Mr. Snow Pea and I met up at the SFMOMA. We both planned on seeing the Picasso exhibit, so it worked out perfectly. Miss Plumeria is incredibly sweet.

Mr. & Miss Plumeria, Miss & Mr. Snow Pea
Mr. Plumeria and Mr. Snow Pea got along so well that we were a little weirded out by it. They kept suggesting names for Mrs. Bee’s possible new sister sites to wedding bee. They would mischieviously stop talking to listen to our conversations about what “sort” of juicy things we girls chat about on wedding bee.
I am so excited and honored to be part of this wonderful community and share with other brides!
I needed a new name and the choices this year are Vegetables. So I created a poll and asked my Bridal Party and close friends that if they had to describe me as a vegetable, which one would it bee?
Unanimously, the girls came back with Miss Snow Pea because it’s cute, small and sweet. Fi also added that it’s “flat and small”…let’s just leave that one alone! And it’s used in Chinese stir fry a lot!
On the other hand, all the boys came back with Miss Habanero, Capsicum, Jalapeno and Pepperoncini. HUH? Are they trying to tell me something?!
