After our rehearsal (which was your standard, hour long event that I have no photos of) we ran back to our place to get ready for the dinner. When we got back to our ’hood, the caterers were already setting up, and our family members were arriving. The sky was gorgeous.

The week before the wedding was interesting for me. I did all of the things I had told myself not to do for the past nine months, and experienced every bridal cliche there is. I couldn’t eat, I definitely didn’t sleep, and I waited until the last minute on so many things, that a lot of it just didn’t get done.

A tragic thing happened four months before the wedding. So tragic, it hurts me to even think about it.
Our computer died. The little Mac laptop that could. It was four years old and working fine until one day, during a crazy Los Angeles heat wave, the motherboard sizzled. We were not fortunate enough (or smart enough!) to backup any of our work.

The final leg of our honeymoon journey was the part I was looking forward to the most; three days and two nights spent in Asheville, North Carolina!
It was still raining when we arrived at our final bed and breakfast, the Beaufort House, but that didn’t stop us from getting excited over the giant porch. We were even greeted by this guy:

Mr. Sprinkle’s wedding gift is complete! When I had last week off from work, I did a lot of sneaking around. All of our finances have been merged for a while now, so it is pretty hard to hide things that I buy for him. In this case, I had to get very creative.
