While we had a lot of fun posing in the park after the ceremony, we had allotted most of our time for pictures throughout downtown Oak Park. We knew we didn’t have time to head into the city for urban shots there, but Oak Park turned out to be a fabulous…

After the ceremony we loaded up in our super-sized limo with our wedding party and fabulous photographers to go have some fun. We had allowed about 2 1/2 hours for pictures and chose locations very close to the church and reception, so it was a really laid back and fun time.

My first job as a wife? Making sure Mr. S’s shoelace was tied!

Whew, as far as changing names goes, I’m grateful to just be changing a few cards and documents rather than changing one of these babies:

Walking down the aisle was so incredibly surreal, but I was very, very happy that the aisle wasn’t long - I was ready to get to Mr. S!

I loved the calm in the church just a couple of hours before the ceremony was to begin. For a wedding of 100 people, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect church to be married in. Some of our guests even commented that it felt like a little country church… that is, until an ambulance came blaring by in the middle of the ceremony.…

The morning of our wedding I was cool, calm and collected as everyone got primped and pretty in my suite. As our RSVPs were coming in and I saw that our guest count was going to be lower than we’d be planning, I was SO excited to reach out to the bees to see if any of them would be at all interested in celebrating the day with us.

Mr. S and I have dropped back into real life after a wonderful wedding and honeymoon! Leaving for the honeymoon the day after the wedding was the best idea ever - while we were exhausted, it was so great to just escape for some fantastic relaxing in ARUBA!

Mr. Stiletto and I enjoyed the most fabulous wedding day EVER! I can’t wait to share more with you once we get the professional pictures back... I’m already dying to do recaps!
