This brings a whole new meaning to “dancing in the aisles”, don’t you think? 😉
I LOVE this! If only I’d seen this before our wedding… 🙂
This is HOTTTT.
This had me BEAMING! 🙂
I wonder what their reception was like!
I love it.. So cute!! So fun!!
Amazing! They seemed like they were having such a great time! I’d be way to nervous to actually have the guts to do this. Way fun though!
I wonder if this was pre or post February? It’s hard for me to listen to Chris Brown now.
That is incredible.
And I actually teared up when the bride came in.
@ETwedding: I was thinking the same thing.
That was really hilarious and special at the same time. I have to pass this on!
Makes me wish I knew some people who would do this!!!!!!!
I think that was horrible. It was corny, people couldn’t dance, bad 80s dresses, sunglasses and suits, horrible song and worst of all, it was really disrespectful to the church. That belongs at the reception!
That is the greatest thing ever. So amazing! I totally started to tear up when the groom came to meet her 1/2 way down the aisle.
Funny, but not location appropriate.
i think it was cute and funny and must have totally reflected the couple’s personality, friends & family. kudos to them for making their ceremony unique =)
LOVE IT! I wish that I could get away with that! So much more fun than a normal processional. I was hoping the bride would dance down the aisle too, so glad she did. 🙂
I absolutely loved it and couldn’t stop smiling! Congrats to the happy couple and I hope they have this much fun everyday. 🙂
@Mrs. Bunny: I teared up too! Not sure why, because it’s supposed to be funny. But she just looked so happy.
omg so great. THAT is what a wedding should be about…uninhibited, natural, and the best time of your life
Oh. My. Gosh! This is just fantastic! I love it so much! Thank you for sharing your video find with the hive…its definitely a unique way to enter!
tears here too. that was amazing!
@Mrs. Bunny, I totally teared up, too! I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. I’m such a wedding cry-er, it’s ridiculous.
Anyways, this is the most fantastic wedding entrance I have ever seen! I love it!!
In LOVE with this.
I loove this. I just emailed it to my MOH. We’ve been talking about doing something like this. I cried too! I have no idea why.
This is what they talk about when they say you need to make sure your wedding truly reflects you and the FI… It made my day 🙂
Very funny but a little long for my tastes.
that is unbelievable! Who would’ve thought to bring a dance into the ceremony. I’m in awe. They looked like they were having SO much fun! An applauding audience doesn’t hurt either!
OMG – I love this. AMAZING… wow, would of loved being at that wedding.
That is the best thing sliced bread.. It has become my new inspiration
i LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!
AAHHKK! That is awesome! I thought for sure the music would but to classical, but I love that the bride danced down the isle too!
I watched this 6 times! That is awesome!!!
@Mrs. Bunny: me too!
[…] liz and phileena have endured watching one of the best wedding processionals i’ve seen ever. ever. ever. this group of people danced down the aisle to chris brown’s […]
I love it, I bet they’re a super fun couple!
I love it!!!! I also tear up 🙂
This is really funny!! What a fun wedding to be a guest at!
i got choked up too! i think my church would make us dance our way out if we danced in like that ~ but it was super cute for them to do!
I also teared up! But I pretty much always do when a bride is walking down an aisle…
Cute! Seems like it’s very true to that couple’s personality!
And @disgusted-those are nice JCrew dresses-so the ‘ugly 80’s dresses’ seems out of place. Plus you have no idea what the personality of that church is. The one I went to as a kid was pretty funky/liberal. I don’t find it to be disrespectful at all. After all, it’s a wedding and a celebration of two people joining together. But I understand it’s not your thing.
I loved it – such an expression of joy (which is what you want when you are getting married) I thought it was great! I laughed and teared up too, just thinking how happy they must have been. I want to be friends with these people!
Very awesome and fun. Were they doing some of the dance moves from the end scene in Dirty Dancing?? I think so!
Re: appropriateness, it looks like the pastor/minister at the front of the church approved of the whole thing; she was smiling. Obviously, you couldn’t do something like this at the vast majority of churches — and I wouldn’t want this for myself, per se. But the expressions of love and joy are really evident on these folks’ faces. It’s really lovely.
This put such a HUGE grin on my face!
My bridal party would never have gone for this… ahh well.
OMG, that was the CUTEST!
OMG!!! I burst out laughing and then couldn’t quite smiling the whole way through. Those are some awesome friends and the coolest couple EVAH.
OMG I LOVE THIS!!!
What a wonderful fun way to do the walk down the aisle!!
I LOVE this! and I teared up too 🙂
That was freakin’ awesome!
I was smiling ear to ear the whole time! That was so cute! =)
Loooooove. I hope that I look and feel that joyful on my wedding day.
ahh this made my day! thanks for sharing it!
Oh my gosh, this was the best thing I’ve seen in a long time!! Smiled the whole way through. Can’t even begin to imagine what awesomeness happened at the reception.
@disgusted: Lighten up, calm down, and if you’re so disgusted, don’t watch 🙂
This was soooo cute.
I just watched it again- my favorite part is when the groom makes his entrance! I tear up every time!!!
What a fun processional and I still almost ended up bawling!!!
fantastic! if we did this both of our families would look around confused and laugh a little. both families lack in the dance and silly gene 🙁 haha! i love it though!
So cute! I love the groom’s somersault. 🙂
Awesome!!! FI loved it too.
haha I’ve always had me and my bridesmaids practice like that and I would totally do it if my church would let meeee
Loved this! Me and my sister watched it and I sent it to FH to watch…we are totally going to do something crazy like this for our recessional! We are getting married at a botanical garden so no restrictions there…what a fun, open church to allow this!!!!
Cutest thing ever. I could see it working really well at an outdoor wedding. I know I could never get away with this in a church, but I’ll be keeping this in mind for our reception entrance.
LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad their church let them do it! I have to say – I was at a wedding and when the bride came out all the sudden “Bill, I love you so!” came blasting out and she was singing along and the audience was clapping – way memorable and fun! Mine will by necessity be more sedate and “traditional” to please his more conservative side of the family, but we’ll have fun at the reception! 😀 This was terrific, so fun, and I smiled and yep, tear-pricks too! Geez I’m getting sappy! LOL! 😀
LOVE IT!! I would love to do this, but my fiancee doesn’t dance unless he’s had a bottle of wine. I love this we’re having a pretty liberal ceremony I only wish I could make him agree lol.
That is so fun!!!!
I am totally blown away! That’s pretty much the best thing I have ever seen! (And I still love Chris Brown!)
How wonderfully fun was that!? Thanks for sharing it Mrs. Shortcake!!!
I am sure the got the church’s permission beforehand, that is not something you just do. I think it was cool.
[…] 23, 2009 at 12:53 pm · Filed under Uncategorized I saw this posted on two wedding blogs, but it never hurts to post it […]
Coolest thing ever. Had tears in my eyes from the get-go. I saw this on MSNBC, but they had spliced it up so badly that it totally lost its ambience.
Don’t know how I missed this post originally… LOVE IT… I got all teary, how great!
