Dresses, Wands, and Two Cute Flower Girls

I’d like to introduce you to two of the most excited flower girls ever:

I’ll call the older one “A” and the little toothless one there is “C”.

These two cuties are Mr. Tiramisu’s cousins (A. is his Goddaughter as well), and I have no doubt that they will play their roles as flower girls flawlessly! They take their jobs very seriously, and ever since we asked them to be in our wedding, they have reminded me about it on every occasion where we’ve seen them. Their Mom and I have been emailing back and forth about flower girl dresses for awhile now, and I think we’ve finally settled on this one from Flower Girl Dress For Less:

Originally I was going to have the girls carry pomanders:

But just this week, my photographer posted this picture of a flower girl wand:

I think A. and C. would have so much fun waving a be-ribboned wand around that I might look into this idea.

What do you think? Would too much chaos ensue? What else could they carry?

How do you make them sturdy enough so that they do not break?

Ours were made with a fairly sturdy wooden dowel that was painted. Very pretty and the girls loved them 🙂
