Framed Chalkboard Signs with Romantic Wedding Quotes
Well, now that the flowers were done, I was ready to move on to the more minute details of the centerpieces. In the photo that Bridesmaid T showed me, there were small picture frames on each table with the “Eat, Drink, and Be Married” saying. I thought it looked super cute and really wanted to replicate it.
So, again, I got to work. I went to the Dollar Store (unfortunately no luck), Michaels (nope, no luck here, either), JoAnn Fabrics (didn’t find the frames, but did find blush ribbon that I was searching for—point for me!), and finally, Hobby Lobby. Hmm. These places were becoming my regular hangouts. I’m surprised the employees didn’t know me by name yet. All in due time, I’m sure.
After searching for what felt like forever, I stumbled across five small picture frames at Hobby Lobby. They were the perfect size and a decent price, and would do the job just fine. I was hoping to get them cheaper, but they ended up being $2.99 each. Certainly not a terrible price. The ones I purchased were white, but I still had plenty of gold spray paint left over and was excited to be able to use it again!
Of course, I forgot to take a picture of the “before.” I think I was just too excited for the final product. That, and I didn’t have any storage left on my phone anyway (oops).
I really liked the way the frames turned out. Instead of doing the same saying for each, I chose different ones that meant something to us.
The sayings we chose:
- Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After
- You Had Me at Merlot (because we got engaged at a winery!)
- Eat, Drink, and Be Married
- Mangia Bene, Ridi Spesso, Ama Molto (Eat Well, Laugh Often, Love Much)
- Tomorrow, We Do
In the end, I thought the frames turned out super cute. It took me quite a bit of time to look up quotes that I thought people would enjoy, but in the end it was time well spent!
So, hive, what did you do for your rehearsal dinner decor? Did you decide to go all out and completely transform your space, or did you do like I did and only add a few personal touches here and there?
I’ll be sure to post the final product photos, and can’t wait to see yours as well!
