Groomsmen in Gray Suits
While the girls were spending hours getting ready, Mr. Dreamcatcher and Company were sleeping in and livin’ the easy life. Mr. D woke up in our home, had a leisurely breakfast, and headed to the hotel at Linden Hall. He checked into the room we’d be staying that night and waited for the rest of the guys to arrive. I don’t have a ton else to say because, well, I wasn’t there. But judging from all the pictures we have of hugs and silly faces, I’d say they had a nice morning too.

Mr. Dreamcatcher gets dressed:
The only picture I have of the fun socks we gifted the boys because I forgot to mention it to the photographer. Booo, Mrs. Dreamcatcher!
Our florist completes the look:
I adore his sly grin here!
The other boys follow “suit” (see what I did there?):
This photo is totally staged. Mr. Dreamcatcher can’t tie a tie without a YouTube video. 😛
They pose for some nice photos:
And of course, when you get almost any group of
boys men together, silly photos are bound to happen.
Since we provided the shirts, ties, and socks, the only guideline we gave the gentlemen was to wear a “darker colored gray suit,” and somehow they all ended up picking almost the exact same shade! Go Dreamcatcher wedding party!! All in all, the Dreamcatchers both had great mornings full of special time with our nearest and dearest. Words fail me when I try to put into writing just how appreciative we are of these tremendous individuals in our lives. As amazing as it was, we were a few minutes behind schedule and getting pretty anxious to see each other. Thankfully, our first look was right around the corner!
Dreamcatcher Tip #8: If it is at all possible to stretch the budget, spring for a second shooter. Without two photographers, we wouldn’t have these awesome photos because the single shooter would have been with me. I love these pics so much, so it would be a shame to miss that opportunity! In addition to more moments in general, we have a few things from different angles that are really special.
- My dress almost doesn’t happen.
- I get by with a little help from my friends.
- We stumble through a rehearsal.
- We give some awesome gifts.
- Flow it, show it, hair, hair, hair, hair.
- Stuff gets sprayed on my face and makes me pretty.
- It takes one mom and six bridesmaids to dress me.
