Are ya’ll ready for some dress reveals?! First, the inspiration, to give you an idea of the mismatched look we sought after:
I left you all with a few tidbits about which dresses my girls were interested in, but now here’s some photo love.
Maid of Honor A, one of my two besties from Seattle, chose the J. Crew Louisa dress in dusty shale. Doesn’t she look gorgeous?!

Maid of Honor N, my other bestie from Seattle, scored a great deal on a used J. Crew Arabelle dress off eBay, also in dusty shale:

Bridesmaids C and K caught a flash sale on J. Crew’s website and both selected the Macie dress in graphite:

Bridesmaids R and H, Mr. Wallaby’s two sisters, bought their bridesmaids dresses last. We kept hoping for another sale on J. Crew’s website. (There aren’t any stores with J. Crew wedding attire in Texas, and so the outlet stores don’t carry bridesmaids dresses either—we are left to rely on online shopping.), but none of the dresses went on sale in the wedding colors, so the three of us went shopping to search for other silk chiffon dresses that would match the other girls’ look. We searched far and wide, until we finally found the perfect dresses at Dillard’s. Check out these Jill Stuart beauties (and the beauties that are wearing them 😉 )

These dresses appear cream in these dark pictures, but in person they’re a beautiful shade of blush. I hoped they would turn out pinker in the wedding photos—but even if they didn’t, it wouldn’t bother me too much, because they looked stunning and were very happy with their dresses.
Mr. Wallaby’s niece, little C, was our flower girl, and her mama picked out a very cute dress for the occasion. She is in a princess phase (didn’t we all have one of those?!) and she wanted a “princess dress” that she could twirl in. Here is little C, a little shy, but 100% cute:

And now, to give you a little sneak peek of my dress, here is the train, at my first fitting. I can’t wait to reveal to you all the rest of the dress, in all its glory.
My train…Eeee!! Personal photo.
I couldn’t wait to see all of the pretty dresses come together. I feel so blessed to have such supportive, amazing bridesmaids, and I know they will all be dazzling at our wedding.
How did your bridesmaids pick out their dresses—did you pick out a uniform look, or did you give them some independence? Were you excited when all of the dresses arrived?
