I’ve been putting off writing this post because I just haven’t quite been ready to say goodbye to you guys. But after 14 months of blogging for Weddingbee and eight months of being married, I figured it was finally time to say adieu.

Thank you SO much for the opportunity to share my wedding with you all. Thank you for the advice, the support, the encouragement, and for being a community of such lovely ladies.

I feel truly blessed and so lucky that I met, fell in love with, and married the love of my life. I’m looking forward to all of the hijinks, adventures, and experiences we’ll be sharing in the future. 🙂

Applying to become a bee blogger for Weddingbee was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and the experience has changed my life—literally. How, you may ask? Blogging and immersing myself in the crazy world of weddings gave me the courage to leave a career in advertising that left me unfulfilled and instead pursue what I now know is my true calling in life—which is to plan weddings professionally! In pursuit of my goal, I joined the Association of Bridal Consultants, completed their Professional Development Program, and am now a Certified Wedding Planner and member of the Association.
Upon receiving my certification, I accomplished another dream of mine and recently started my own wedding planning business called This Modern Love Events. (Does the name sound familiar?!) I am so, so excited for this new venture in my life, and have had amazing support from Mr. M as well as my close family and friends. In addition to offering traditional wedding-planning services to couples in the Connecticut and New York areas, I’ve also created a unique digital planning service which will allow me to work with couples located anywhere in the US. And of course I will continue blogging about all things wedding over at my blog, Primp My Bride.
I will truly miss being a regular blogger here and will make sure to pop in every once in a while to say hi!
