When we arrived at the golf course, Mr Teaspoon and I were totally over photos and just wanted to join our guests at cocktail hour, but our photographer wanted us to get some shots on the course. I did get a little grumpy when I saw of all our guests inside and I wasn’t allowed to go in. Not to worry, I cheered up immensely when we got in the golf buggies! It was all hands on deck across the gravel in the carpark. I walked about two steps and I swear half the train of my dress ripped. The girls freaked out, and jumped on board. In the end, I have inspected my dress post-wedding and there doesn’t seem to be a single rip that I can find.
We headed out to the course. The boys finally put their hands in their pockets!
I love the simplicity of this photo. A lush green golf course, my groom in his suit, the bride in white. It’s going straight to the Pool Room (Aussies and maybe Kiwis will understand that reference, but for our non-oceania based folk, it’s from The Castle).
Ah, another photo you could only get in Australia, and maybe in some parts of California? Here we are next to a Gum Tree.
Why do I always love the photo of the groom with the bouquet? I especially love this one of Mr Teaspoon, just because he is my groom holding my bouquet.
Ah sunset, how I love you and how you make everything look so beautiful. Although it is a little sad looking back at this photo, as our wedding day was almost over. I didn’t think of it like that at the time, I just thought, “PARTY”!
After all is said and done, I love these photos and I am glad that our photographer made us stay out to take them. Don’t worry, I have already told him that.
