My dress came in a few weeks ago, and I recently made an appointment to visit her — of course, try her on! — and to begin figuring out the whole veil thing.
~~~ Okay, Mr. Bruschetta, this is your cue to scoot! ~~~
I love the idea of a ceremony veil, and then a new look for the reception. This option would also mesh well with our plans to wander through Old City for creative candids between the ceremony and reception.
Long and dramatic is what I’ve got in mind for the ceremony. But, it seems it’s not as simple as that! I tried on two beautiful, cathedral-length veils. And, while I’ll admit I’m slightly favoring one over the other, I’m still torn. Which do you prefer?
A traditional style (which wouldn’t be embellished with crystals, like this one is)…
Or a cascade design?
My consultant only gave me one birdcage to try, and I was instantly hooked. It’s fresh yet retro, sweet yet sassy. The only thing I didn’t love? The price. ($250!)
As can-do as Crafty Miss Bruschetta tends to be, I’m not comfortable trusting my wedding veils to my well-intentioned (but not always perfectly-executed) DIY capabilities.
So, hive, I’m seeking your votes (yes/no to two different veils — and which ceremony look you prefer) and recommendations. Where did you purchase your wedding veil?
