I only sat by myself for a moment or two to collect myself before joining the rest of the wedding party. Our prelude music had been playing sweetly when I left the sanctuary, and by the time I had walked out, I could hear the ending strains of “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay, instrumental by Vitamin String Quartet, playing. This was the music that our honored guests and Mr. D walked out to. First to walk was Mr. D’s grandmother, escorted by my step-brother A, who was also an usher:
Next was my grandmother who was escorted by our other usher, my younger brother B:
Then my step-father escorted my mother down the aisle:
This is EXTREMELY dressed up for my stepfather, who purposely coordinated with my mother. I thought it was adorable that he did this for me.
Next Mr. D’s father walked Mr. D’s step-mother down the aisle:
Finally Mr. D brought up the rear with his mother, along with Pastor Marty:
Once Mr. D took his place at the end of the aisle, the music changed to the next song. We chose the Vitamin String Quartet instrumental of “Bubbly” by Colbie Caillat.
The wedding party processional began with BM C and GM S:
Then GM P and BM D:
Then GM J and BM S:
Next was BM J and GM B:
Then was BM A and GM C:
And then it was MOH A and Best Man N, who had a huge height difference despite MOH A’s four-inch heels:
Finally the mini VIPs took their turn with Junior BM J and Flower Girl A:
And Sign Carrier O, announcing what is coming next:
