“…be my bridesmaid?”
I have the joy and pleasure of asking four of the most amazing ladies I know if they will stand with me on my big day. While I had already asked them way ahead of time (even before the official engagement), I wanted to make everything official. And I just love giving gifts!
*Note: Shhh! I haven’t mailed my two Texas bridesmaids their boxes yet, so don’t tell Bridesmaid Foxy or Bridesmaid Stage Manager what’s inside.
There were so many fun and original ways to “pop the question” to bridesmaids on Pinterest that I just couldn’t choose. I finally had to just go with what I know and like.
I went old school and made the “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” sign out of construction paper and Crayola markers. Yep, that’s right, I did the kindergarten craft project. I did a freehand drawing of a dress and cut it out to paste in the middle (yes, with Elmer’s School Glue—don’t judge me).
What’s in the box, you say? Just an assortment of goodies and wedding-related information:
- Travel size body wash and lotion
- EOS lip balm
- Ferrero Rocher
- Tea bag
- Pen and pencil set
- David’s Bridal bridesmaid catalog
- David’s Bridal fabric swatches in Pool (dress color), Malibu, and Champagne (wedding accent colors)
Maid of Honor Big Sis and Bridesmaid Motivated loved theirs! Now I just have to send out the other two, and I will be complete.
How did you ask your bridal party to be in the wedding? Did you get overwhelmed by amazingly cute Pinterest ideas like I did?
