Although our invites are chocolate brown and ivory with a bit of dark purple, we’re switching it up. Someone commented on my theme post that our color scheme included gray. They’re sometimes referred to as “budget” or “DIY” weddings, and while I feel that those terms should be a source of pride, I think they’re often seen as second-tier weddings. At least for me - I’m clearly on a dessert kick this week. For those of us falling in love with cake buffets, I urge you to consider diversifying your investments, and to not put all your sweets in the proverbial cake basket. I let my mind wander to the cake buffet idea and decided to seek out cake stands to share with you all. I bake all the time so I can easily justify cake stands as wedding/life purchases. I can’t really purchase any cake stands in England…
