Adele Wechsler’s Spring 2011 collection was fresh and feminine. And I know a lot of you were less-than-thrilled by lots of the models you’ve seen on the runway this far. Hola hive! Sorry for the small hiatus in Bridal Market recaps—I had to fly home!—but I’m back on the train! Let’s kick it off with a bang. And who makes a bigger bang than Pnina Tornai? Mrs. Pug and I were on hand to attend the runway show at Kleinfeld, and I was smitten by the “I love New York” theme. Pnina is from Israel, and says that she has two lovers: her husband, and New York City. This latest collection was dedicated to her city-lover.

We love Romona Keveza! She’s always so accessible as a person, making sure to greet us every year personally as we attend her shows.
Romona Keveza (say Kah-vay-sha) was my dream wedding dress designer, long before I knew anything about the crazy world of wedding dress designers. I’d bookmark many of her dresses in bridal magazines and dreamed of wearing her designs! It’s so crazy that I’ve been able to check out her collections in person for the past few years, and they always bring me back to my days as a bride-to-be, dreaming of what my wedding gown would look like.
This year Romona Keveza’s Fall 2011 Collection was inspired by Holly Golightly, kicking off with perfect little black dresses, and moving on to what Romona envisions Holly would be married in. Swoon!

I hopped over to Pier 94 yesterday to visit with designer Alisa Benay and check out her newest collection! Alisa’s dresses are all made in luxe fabrics with surprisingly affordable price points. My favorite thing about Alisa is that each year she designs a pink-hued dress and donates a portion of the sales of that particular dress to breast cancer research. If you or a loved one has been affected by breast cancer, this would make a huge supportive statement to wear Alisa’s Camille gown at your wedding!
The color is an understated pink. It’s so stunning in person!

Mrs. Lobster and I attended The Douglas Hannant show together at The Plaza on Sunday and had an amazing time checking out the new collection! It was bridal glam at its finest.
The runway was a winter wonderland, and the models all had snowflakes in their hair. The show kicked off with a bridal suit. Loved it!
I sent Mrs. Lobster the dress pics this morning and asked her to pick a fave, and I made sure not to look at what she picked before I picked my own fave. Surprisingly, we both picked the same favorite, this next dress below!
