I actually had my bridal shower a few weeks back, but I was waiting to get all the pictures before I posted. My bridesmaids threw me the most wonderful bridal shower ever!!!

We got to meet so many amazing and fun photographers during Scott Robert’s NYC Workshop. One of them was Stephen Ng from California!
Stephen was such a pleasure to work with and Mr. Lovebird and I were amazed by the photos he took. I’ll let his work speak for itself…

Mr. Lovebird just got back from his bachelor party this weekend with his boys and from what he tells me~ it was a blast! The guys really put a lot of time and effort into planning an awesome bachelor party weekend for him in Miami, and I’ve asked them to share with the hive. Commentary by our groomsman, Oliver and pictures by our groomsman, Young:

I have been given the privilege/duty of recapping the bachelor party of Mr. Lovebird for Weddingbee. As you may already tell, I am uber enthusiastic about this task…. Entries like these are far too rare to cheapen with heavy handed words, so as they say let’s cut to the chase. The bachelor party took place in Miami, so all the groomsmen hopped on a plane bright and early Friday morning from Newark to Miami. Our hotel, the Loews was pretty awesome since it was so central to all the hot spots.
Mr. Lovebird and I wanted to splurge a little on our bridal party gifts. We wracked our brains for weeks trying to think of something to get these guys, and decided on something any guy would love. And since we didn’t want to bring these somewhat big and heavy gifts all the way to Mexico, we thought we would have a little groomsmen get-together beforehand. We just invited them over to our place for some food and games and said “prizes will be awarded.”

OH MY GOSH!!! I can barely contain myself! I know I said I wouldn’t bombard the hive with my TTD session, but I have to show these shots taken by Scott Robert during his NYC workshop!
Yea, that’s me lying on the ground in Times Square!
So these are the final products. My wonderful bridesmaid, Michelle, put all the text on herself since I was too tired from the almost all-nighter we pulled the night before putting the images on. Gocco’ing is rough man! She also mixed her own shade of turquoise ink and used good old black.
No, this is not a post about hygiene…although more than one bee confessed to not showering enough over the long weekend. So I’ve been checking the weather religiously to see what was in store for this weekend.
I’m a little bummed that of all the days for it to rain, that it’s going to rain on Saturday! What’s going on Saturday you ask? It’s my Bridal Shower/Bachlorette Party!
One of the main reasons we wanted to have a destination wedding was because we wanted an excuse to take a vacation with our friends and family. As much as I’m looking forward to the actual wedding day, sometimes I get more excited over the fact that we get to hang out with our friends and family the days leading up to and after the wedding. I can imagine us playing beach volleyball, kayaking, snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins and basically chilling on the beach. I don’t want to miss a second of this and want to make sure I don’t forget these moments! So we bought these gadgets in the past few weeks to help us document this vacation of a lifetime.
It’s the Panasonic HDC-SD9 AVCHD 3CCD Flash Memory High Definition Camcorder with 10x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom. Yea….whatever all that means. Basically it’s a HD Camcorder with Image Stabilizers.
After my previous failed attempt at dressing the two adorable little boys in my bridal party, I have finally succeeded!

Considering it’s going to be around 90 degrees the day we get married, we knew from the start that Mr. Lovebird was going to get a light colored suit for the wedding.
This is what he ended up getting: Calvin Klein 3-Button Tan Seersucker Cotton Suit
