Cupcake Fever

Yeeeup, another cupcake bride. In order to avoid the per person cake cutting fee, we opted for wedding cuppity cakes. We’re going with a tiffany blue-ish/canary theme for our wedding, and cannot decide between the two for our cupcakes. I’m not a huge fan of frosting, so all of the inspirational cupcake photos were selected for that reason. Each of the designs would be customized…

I believe wedding inspiration can be found almost anywhere, and this weekend it struck at my husbands company holiday party. Maybe in my newlywed bliss I missed this trend, but this looked like a novel idea to me. I call it “The Cupcake Bar.”

Miss Hydrangea’s post from the other day brought up the interesting point that a lot of brides, at least at first, tend to be opposed to the idea of having their wedding reception in a hotel ballroom. I guess the issue with hotel ballrooms is that they’re not seen as unique as all of the amazing spaces people are using for their receptions these days.…
