Flower Girl Dress

Mr. Snow Pea’s mama made his sister’s wedding gown, and I thought it would be a great way to include her by asking her to make our flower girl dress. I know it’s difficult for the Mother of the Groom to stand on the sidelines while all this wedding stuff goes on. She was really excited and I think this can be “her baby” for the wedding. She can exert all her wedding energy on her own granddaughter’s dress.

I went to her house last weekend and she showed me some patterns she has used in the past. I took them home, matched up the pieces I wanted and drew her a sketch. The back of the flower girl dress has a similar look to the bustle of my wedding gown with the 3 tiers.
