Entry #1: Erynn
Store/Style: Stuart Weitzman Dramahalt
Heel: 3 5/8-
Price: $275
My advice on sizing: Size up half a size (due to the pointy toe.)
My dress is pretty simple with just a touch of lace on the bodice, so when I started my shoe hunt I knew I wanted a little sparkle. I always thought I’d wear an open toe sandal with a little hint of bling. After I chose my bridesmaids’ Nine West heels, I realized they were 3 1/4″! I am only 5′5″ and my fiance is 6″. I was going to look so short next to everyone and no bride wants to get lost in the mix.
While I kept the sparkle, I lost the open toe part and decided on these beautiful Stuart Weitzman closed toe heels. I think they are classy, the perfect height and give me the hint of glitz I was looking for. I can’t wait for the creative shoe shots my photographer will take!

Entry #2: Cindy
Store/Style: Macy’s, Capparros Jubilee
Heel: 3-
Price: $35, originally $85
Dear weddingbee,
For months, I had decided to go with 5-inch wedges that were unconventional, but tall enough so I didn’t have to spend a couple hundred getting my dress hemmed. They were Richard Tyler Midori wedges in ivory, and I had replaced the rope ties with sheer ivory ribbon to make them more bridal. They were a bargain at Shoe Pavilion for $60, original price $108.

But a week before my wedding in July, I went to the tailor to attach a few loops for the bustle, and she told me that even with the super-tall shoes, my dress was dragging a little. I thought, maybe I could live with that because who’s going to notice? But then I practiced dancing with my dad, and he kept stepping on my hem! I decided to bite the bullet and get the dress hemmed properly, and since the dress was going to be trimmed anyway, I wanted to wear shoes with a lower heel instead of teetering on 5-inch stilts. So a few days before my wedding, I went on a frantic search for new shoes.
Amazingly, I immediately found the perfect pair sparkling at me from the Macy’s discount rack for $35, original price $85. It was the Caparros Jubilee in champagne silk, a peep-toe pump with beautifully beaded sheer fabric and a padded footbed, so I was comfortable with the 3-inch heel. I love how they twinkle when they catch the light, and I felt more girly in them than I did with the first pair, which were funky cool and sexy, but not as pretty and delicate. The last-minute hem problem was stressful, but it ultimately led to the perfect wedding shoes for me!
Sincerely,
Cindy

Entry #3: Amy
Store/Style: Isabella by Fenaroli Collezione for Regalia Footwear
Heel: 3-
Price: $57 on ebay, retail $315
I love these hand-crafted shoes because they offer couture Italian flair, Audrey Hepburn glamour, sexiness, and a stunning silhouette. You also can’t beat the price. After the wedding, I’ll also dye them a sassy color like peacock, fuchsia or emerald green to make a statement with a black cocktail dress.
Many thanks,
Amy
