Today I have a treat for you. Well, really, it’s a treat for me and Mr. Oatmeal. OK, it’s just a treat for me.
On Christmas morning we were given a spectacular gift from my brother. I’d say that it was the best gift given in the Oatmeal household this Christmas, but I’d be lying. Mr. Oats and I gifted my brother a Shake Weight. Enough said, right?
Anyway, it was our wedding guestbook! Here I am opening said gift, and my brother is beaming with pride over his gift-giving abilities. (And yes, that is our little Murphy, in a hoodie.)

Let me introduce you to a little company named MOO. I have recently become obsessed with them since discovering around the hive all the great things you can do with them. What are they, you ask? They are a printing company from England that prints high-quality photo cards at affordable prices! They have a number of sizes including the adorable mini MOO. Check out some of the cute projects that I’ve found online that have become inspirations for our own save the dates, invitations, and thank you cards!

Hive, we have our teaser engagement photos from our photographer! All photos in this post are by Fotograffika.
I haven’t talked too much about picking a photographer, but basically I made a bookmark folder and bookmarked anything that I found in town that I liked. I set up appointments with two of them, and we went. After that, Cinnamon Buns asked to see my bookmarks and made us appointments with a couple more. After our meeting with the Fotograffika duo, Cinnamon Buns and I walked back to the car, and as soon as our doors were closed, I said, “I want to be friends with them!” I like them both; they had actually just gotten engaged, so we talked weddings in general for a lot of our meeting, and I liked their photography.
