If you liked my rehearsal bouquet, you’re going to adore this wedding!

Megan Hunt and David Homan got married on May 31st, 2008 at the The Slowdown in Omaha, Nebraska. Like most couples getting married, they were blissfully in love. Also like many couples, these two were unaware that their wedding details would send one Miss Shortcake over the edge into a blissfully sweet, sugary coma of joy.

My Best Friend’s Wedding

June 9th, 2008 @ 5:01 pm by Miss Peacock

I have a few photos from Erin’s wedding! Everything was so beautiful. Of course, there were a few snags, but in the end everything was perfect.Erin and her bridesmaids spent the night before the wedding at a hotel in Lincoln Park. I loved that! We were up late with girl talk and then up early watching the Weather Channel together. We were also ready to go when the hair and make-up team arrived at 9:00 am.

Doesn’t she look so happy and excited? It really was her day.

Reception at Glen Foerd

May 14th, 2008 @ 5:00 pm by Mrs. Tiramisu

As promised, here are some more pictures of Carolyn and Josh’s wedding in Philadelphia. The reception was held at the beautiful Glen Foerd Mansion on the Delaware River. Carolyn and Josh arranged a bus that made two trips from the Omni Hotel in Philly out to Glen Foerd- first to take them and the bridal party, then to bring the guests. During our extra time we took pictures on the grounds of the mansion.

I had so so so much fun this weekend helping my friend (and MOH) Carolyn celebrate her wedding to her college sweetheart, Josh in Philly. They were married at Old St. Joseph’s Church, which needed very little decoration to be beautiful.

About Miss Cupcake

I posted a while ago about the venue envy I have for my brother’s wedding venue, The Angel Orensanz Foundation in NYC. Wonderful Brother Cupcake and his fabulous wife (who first introduced me to Weddingbee) got married there last June, and it was a spectacular, beautiful day. It perfectly represented this hip, fun-loving couple, and I thought I’d share with you all some great photos from the day, all courtesy of Brian Dorsey Studios. I’m sure you’ll be able to see why I was so envious of their spectacular day!

Before heading to the venue, the happy couple had their first meeting in a local park

I’ll share some details of the Gujurati garba-raas event, which took place the night before their ceremony and reception. It was amazing to watch and even more exhilarating to be a part of!

All In The Details… Erin & Michael

January 11th, 2008 @ 4:53 pm by Mrs. Flamingo

As I was reading my daily blogs, while sipping tea of course, I came across an awesome post by Mimi of Enjoy Celebrations about a stunning wedding she coordinated last December. The bride Erin is Mimi’s friend and I knew I had to share her wedding with you.

The entire venue is exactly how I envisioned my dream wedding, the decorations and details are simply right on. Their wedding was photographed by the renown Leigh Miller, and it’s no understatement that she did a fabulous job capturing the essence. The pictures are jaw-dropping, just take a look for yourself!

The Explorers Club

September 30th, 2007 @ 7:27 pm by Mrs. Bee

Last night Mr. Bee and I attended a wedding at a unique and intimate Manhattan venue called the Explorers Club. Mr. Bee called it an “intellectual wedding” because it was a wedding between two lawyers, presided over by a judge. There was also very little dancing and partying as the focus was on eloquent and heartfelt speeches by the father of the groom, father and mother of the bride, best man, maid of honor, the mc, and the groom interspersed throughout the evening.

Despite my not even knowing anyone there and Mr. Bee not being a big fan of weddings in general, we both agreed that it was one of the best weddings we’ve ever attended.

Phil’s Wedding 009edit.jpg

It was perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony. This intimate venue seats a maximum of about 100 people.
