As I was reading my daily blogs, while sipping tea of course, I came across an awesome post by Mimi of Enjoy Celebrations about a stunning wedding she coordinated last December. The bride Erin is Mimi’s friend and I knew I had to share her wedding with you.

The entire venue is exactly how I envisioned my dream wedding, the decorations and details are simply right on. Their wedding was photographed by the renown Leigh Miller, and it’s no understatement that she did a fabulous job capturing the essence. The pictures are jaw-dropping, just take a look for yourself!

Mr. D and I went to a gorgeous and FUN wedding in Atlanta this past weekend. Not only was it so great to see old friends, but it also gave us more ideas and tips for our own wedding! I thought I would share a couple key things we learned and will keep in mind when our wedding rolls around!

Last night Mr. Bee and I attended a wedding at a unique and intimate Manhattan venue called the Explorers Club. Mr. Bee called it an “intellectual wedding” because it was a wedding between two lawyers, presided over by a judge. There was also very little dancing and partying as the focus was on eloquent and heartfelt speeches by the father of the groom, father and mother of the bride, best man, maid of honor, the mc, and the groom interspersed throughout the evening.
Despite my not even knowing anyone there and Mr. Bee not being a big fan of weddings in general, we both agreed that it was one of the best weddings we’ve ever attended.
It was perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony. This intimate venue seats a maximum of about 100 people.
I’ve already shared my friend Hee Won’s engagement ring, her engagement pics, and the video of Peter serenading her, so now it’s finally time to share some pictures of their wedding day!
The wedding was held at the beautiful Greystone Mansion and Park. Though Greystone’s zip code is 90210, it’s a public park so rental fees are surprisingly affordable.

Last Friday, Mr. Peach and I attended the wedding of his college friends. Their wedding was at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, NJ. (Please excuse my lack of photography skills)
The setup:

Our entire second day was spent at sea. Oh, and here’s the obligatory elevator carpet picture:

I just got back from LA this morning after attending the beautiful wedding of my very dear friends Hee Won and Peter. I still have to organize all the pictures, but I had to share this video! I hope they don’t mind me sharing this sweet story.
Hee Won and Peter have this ongoing inside joke where she asks him to serenade her. Their wedding website url is even a reference to this inside joke. Peter always refuses to serenade Hee Won, so she’d say that as long as he did it once before she was 80, that was all she wanted.
Fast forward to the wedding day - Peter had asked his friend, who often sings at weddings, to perform a song during the reception. Hee Won knew about this beforehand, so she wasn’t surprised when she was asked to sit in a chair as Peter’s friend starting playing his guitar.
Then Peter came out with a mic, and everyone - especially Hee Won - was completely surprised!
It’s moments like these that make a wedding truly special - it was the best part of the entire wedding. ![]()
Mr. Peppermint and I had the great pleasure of spending the weekend up in his hometown of Sacramento to go to a friend’s wedding. He’s known the bride since they were kids and Mr. Peppermint and I realized this was the first wedding we’ve been to of a peer (all the rest have been family)…
The couple actually already had the ceremony with just the two of them earlier last week, and the reception was held for family & friends in the bride’s hometown. The venue was the Old Firehouse Restaurant and it was really nice! They had tables filling up the back patio (the weather was perfect, btw) and hors d’oeuvres and an open bar were adjacent in the Golden Eagle Salon. Here are some pictures of the venue (I took the outside, the other two are from their website):
Last September Mr. Peony and I took a trip to Seattle to attend the wedding of Juliette and Mark. We all attended the same university and so it was quite sweet to see fellow college sweethearts tying the knot. I met Juliette when she and Mark had first started dating, so it was quite emotional to witness their vows.
Juliette and Mark are such a stylish couple that I knew it would be a spectacular wedding. In fact, it actually exceeded my expectations and beyond. So it was no big surprise when they announced that their wedding was being featured in the Seattle Metropolitan Bride & Groom magazine! Juliette has graciously agreed to share the magazine layout for Weddingbee readers:

I usually don’t like to write about things that have already made the rounds on other wedding blogs, because I’m just weird that way.
But this a truly stunning wedding, so I had to share with those of you who have yet to see it. Check out many more gorgeous photos of Ev & Sara’s wedding via Mightygirl here and here.

We met more than ten years ago as sophomores in our high school honors English class and have been attached at the hip ever since! He was my first boyfriend and I was his first girlfriend. After being crowned Prom King and Queen, going to UCSD together for college, being on opposite sides of the country for two years, and a romantic proposal in Maui, we finally tied the knot on May 12, 2007.

We both discovered each other on the Knot after realizing we had the same wedding venue. She recently posted her wedding photos and here are just a few of my favorites. She looks absolutely stunning and has amazing details in her wedding! Mike Kehr is the photographer and he has been featured and received awards from Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style and Elegant Wedding Magazine.

I think I have already posted this wedding, but I didn’t find that many great photos before…
This beautiful wedding was also designed by Todd Events (our event design company).
I first met our featured bride, Jenny, at a summer camp when we were in elementary school. We were in the same group and she even came over to my house once after camp ended… but soon thereafter we lost contact. Fast forward nearly 15 years when we subscribed to each other’s xanga sites. We’d been reading each other’s sites for years before we just recently realized… that we knew each other! I can’t tell you how many people I’ve reconnected with through my blog!
Jenny recently had a gorgeous Southern California wedding, so I asked her to share the details with weddingbee…
